Liberals are generally more emotion and intention driven and often won't follow an idea to a logical conclusion. When you argue an idea, they'll often take it as a personal insult because it's not the end result of their idea that counts, it's that they care and want to be considered good and compassionate.

Clean air and water and access to nature

· Safe, affordable, adequate housing

It seems like on every issue, if you logically play it out, the left runs away. We never discuss logic, and i think the right has logic on their side and the left has ideas on their side. Problem is, logic always wins. I don't know what i'm looking for here, i'm just a little exhausted. It seems whenever people here and in the world are faced with logic, a crash happens.

I swear i am not on the right, but i have moved towards the right recently because of the environment we live in.

Trump is the best example of the arguments "on the right". He literally took over the right in 12 months. A washed up, fake reality "star" and (adulterer, fornicator, whoremonger, liar, cheat, etc.) with morals beneath the gutters of Gomorrah took over the "right" with his "ideas" and "arguments". He told those Church Ladies what they wanted to hear, and the Church Ladies promptly bent over for him.

The left may be dumb, but they aren't doing that^^^. They like him because they're like him - most likely disgusting.

Because you cant have an electric grid run on solar and wind. You can stop cows from farting or people from breathing. The people don't want their tax burden to be doubled. What our country does doesn't mean other countries will do it to so the effect on a global scale is little.

We do the statement is aimed at paying for taxes and what effect that will have on global warming. The rights position is double the tax burden on our citizen will not make global warming go away or stop, if its indeed happening and caused by humans.

in the US, the people elect representatives, hopefully based on shared beliefs and goals - and so the things the Republican representatives in our government are doing should indicate who conservative voters think on issues. in regards to climate change, if we take that approach, i definitely think it's safe to say that conservatives do NOT think anthropogenic climate change is real.

it is possible that they also do not believe there is anything we could do about it, even if it were. both of things lie outside of the scientific consensus, to varying degrees. no one thinks we can "stop" climate change, especially not now - we've waited far too long. but, we maybe to able to lessen our impact enough to make our survival less trying.

and, this topic is not about climate change, it's about logic, hence why my opinions on climate change are irrelevant.

it's also completely ridiculous, because to them, democrats = the far left, which isn't even remotely true. there are only a dozen or so actual left-leaning congresspeople, and we've not had a left-leaning President since probably FDR.

most conservatives wouldn't know logic if it touched them inappropriately during their church service.

Yes you can. Power can be stored for times of low output. However, it's expensive. Nuclear power is the better option for supplemental power.

You can stop cows from farting or people from breathing.

You can eat less beef. Less beef consumption, fewer cows.
