[W:549] Nfl 2018

This is why I never predict outcomes.

But you engage in general predictions.........

Aside: appears the Eagle came to play; games have been lopsided so far....

No. I note observed tendencies from past performances.

Kirk Cousins will win a SB in Minnesota? That’s not one of yours? Are your eyes brown?

“Obligated, responsibility?”

Let me dumb it down for you, what are the teams that have successful head coaches who have previously served as assistants under Bill Belichek?

Again... you are not smart enough to dumb down anyone to begin with.

I asked you why it was important enough for you to make a issue out of it anyways.

Can you answer the question, or are you going to continue with your smart ass deflection?

we shall see. He doesn't take big hits and he understands the scheme. Bodes well.
Yes, that's why he is much better than someone like Cam Newton, who squandered his opportunity to win a Super Bowl, and has been accumulating injuries (given his personality, defensive players target him more out of spite, and he is a bit careless in throwing himself to the wolves); eventually he will decline and I doubt he'll ever win a Super Bowl, while Mahomes has the potential to win one or more.

This is the post you originally replied to:

Aside: Why do you think the Belichek coaching tree hasn’t been more successful in placing head coaches? McDaniels, Crennell, Weis, Patricia (only in his first year). They are saying that Pats are losing an asst to Miami HC.

Here is your response: Explain why it is the Patriots responsibility in placing head coaches.

Are they obligated?

At this rate I am probably going to continue my “smartass deflection” unless you want to answer my original question. Sailors I knew could hold their grog.....

Thankfully the Eagles are providing some excitement, leading the Saints 14-0 early in the first quarter. I hope it lasts, because otherwise, the divisional playoffs will end up with very predictable results, with the four teams that dominated the league all year long, surviving - Rams, Chiefs, Patriots, Saints. If that's what happens, one wonders why we needed the 2018 regular season... (as a way of speaking).

So, I hope to see at least one upset. Go Eagles!

The Eagles are fired up.

Who ever wins this is going to come out limping. A lot of players are going down.

Well, at least this game is close.

After a pretty entertaining season the playoffs thus far have been disappointing.

What a drive that was, penalties on the Saints everywhere but still time and time again they picked up the first and 10 even if they were really playing catch up due to the penalties but what was also very obvious is that some of the defense of the Eagles are getting gassed. I have seen a few that look dead tired and one can only hope that the Eagles hold on to the ball for some extended time or else their defense has to go out there again and another one of these punishing Saints drives could really leave the Eagles defenders missing plays due to fatigue.

well that was as short possession again, this means a long and tiring drive again I fear from the Saints. This could get really bad for the Eagles. They need to make a quick shutdown of the Saints or the game could slip through the hands of the Eagles completely. A great start has now been turned around big time because Foles seems to cannot seem to get his offense going so far.

Put a fork in it, the Saints just feasted up the Eagles. Over and out for magic Foles. They are done.

Got to give the Eagles a ton of credit. All the injuries. Losing their QB. Then going in to NO and pushing the Saints to the edge.

Congrats

Eagles wr cost his team the game. Foles is unbelievable

Foles is a decent relief quarterback but I do not know if he can do this trick if he has to start an entire season at the helm of a team.

It's all about who is playing better in this moment. Eagles have momentum and they also want revenge for the shellacking earlier this season. They relish the underdog position. Saints are on a bit of a downward slide, having peaked mid to late season. I still think that NO is the better team as Philly is still pretty beat up. I think home field and good coaching will carry the Saints but I don't think it will be easy. If the Eagles have **** luck on their side (like today) they might be able to pull it off.

Well, it was a lot closer than last time, that's for sure.

but the song remains the same, Saints win and the Eagles season is over and done with. The best 2 in each conference will meet up to determine who goes on to the Superbowl.

4 teams left!

Looking ahead:

NFC: Rams v. Saints Sunday 1/20 3:05 pm FOX
AFC: Patriots v. Chiefs Sunday 1/20 6:40 pm CBS

People said the same thing about Brady in 2001
