me too because this is not working. The defense has to work way too hard to keep the chargers offense off the field. And so far they have prevented touchdowns but they have given up 4 field goals so far and 2 or 3 more and the game is in the bag for the Chargers, even without touch downs.

The Chargers do have a really good defense.

The Chargers are the better team. As a Patriots fan, I am worried however the Ravens historically play the Patriots well in the playoffs.

If the Chargers play the Patriots, I am only 55-60% optimistic they will win.

The Patriots will defeat the Chargers, in their own house the Patriots are rock solid.
 
Ravens must hate Flaco. Jackson is 3/10 with -2 yrds in the 4th. WTF?
 
well that one is over and done with, 23 to 3 is not a score the Ravens will recover from. The Chargers are heading for the Patriots and the defeat that will be heading their way.

Lamar has some promise. He struggled early on but that's to be expected from a young QB playing in the playoffs for the first time.

He needs some good blockers in front of him, other QB's have much more time in the pocket or are better defended by their front line because how on earth could the Chargers blast through the front line so quickly time and time again.

but Brady also has an enormously good running back contingent. Because if Brady cannot go through the air, he can still rely on a great running offense. And if enough time elapses with the Chargers defense on the field, at one time Brady will get his chances and then he can do some serious damage with quick throws to his wide receivers or the running backs with catching ability.

And the Patriots are unbeaten at home this year! It will be a great game for sure but the Patriots will be favourites.

I would say though that our running game can be a bit unpredictable at times , i think it will be a James White game.
 
Anyone pay particular attention to NFL pro from certain schools. First for me are the service academies and then Stanford. Stanford has an academic reputation and their NCAA football team has done well in recent years.
There are other schools that put players in the NFL, but it seems to me, that Stanford is consistent.


What are your “pay attention to” schools?

The Patriots hat is standing tall in the living room to hopefully give luck to my Patriots. My brother in law (also a Patriots fan, now living in our overseas part of the Kingdom) bought this for me last summer when he visited the Patriots Hall of Fame.

All I can say is:

Like I said before, the Bears chose to play the Eagles by beating the Vikings last week, now they are faced with going against the hottest QB right now in Nick Foles.

Foles is playing at a Hall of Fame level.
