[W:549] Nfl 2018

Giants offense scores 12 offensive points against the worse defense in all of football. And the Giants are 4-19 over the last 2 years.

I think it's time to clean house.

I guess it's starting..

Giants reportedly trade former first-round pick Eli Apple to Saints..

from your cite:
... Even in the struggling NFC East, the Giants don't look ready to go anywhere fast. Which means that we may see them go the Raiders route and try to stock up on draft picks for the foreseeable future.
let Gettleman work his GM magic; he has an outstanding eye for talent

As a Patriots fan I should be happy to see this but as a fan of the game I'm genuinely concerned that two talents like Barkley and Beckham will waste their best years.

And speaking of the Raiders Jerry gives up a 1st round pick for Cooper? LOL

Jerry has to be the worse GM in all of sports, 2nd rounder maybe, but more likely a 3rd..

Raiders are certainly stocking up on 1st round picks.

I could give a damn about Beckham, the Giants should have got rid of him years ago. Especially on a struggling team he's a cancer. But Barkley? Yeah, especially because RB's usually have such a short NFL careers.

Saints basically stole Eli Apple from New York with a trade. Can't believe NYG just let their best corner go like that.

On the other hand, since Saints made the trade, they won't be getting Patrick Peterson. Since Peterson expressed interest in the Saints and the Saints of course would love to have him, I guess it's a sign that the Cardinals will just flat out not trade Peterson.

Best? I guess, but to be honest that's not saying a whole hell of a lot.

Where is that guy who was saying that the Giants are not pathetic?
1-and-6 to start this season, after 3-and-13 last season...
Repeated red zone trips without a TD... and this, playing against the decimated Falcons defense.
Poor clock management at game end...
Pathetic.

That was a Panthers fan that was trying to prop up his teams poor play against the Giants.

No. That was me, a Panthers fan, and I said exactly the opposite, that the Panthers played poorly in that last-second win, not that the Giants played well. Go back and look, using my posting history. You'll see that I said the very opposite of what you are claiming.

The Giants proved me right, playing poorly again, while facing the depleted Falcons defense.

Yes, the Giants are pathetic, and it's not because of anybody trying to prop up his own team. It's because they simply and truly are pathetic.

What about that Patriots fan who poured beer on the Chiefs player... real classy.

Poured beer over a guy who punched his pregnant gf in the stomach so we’ll call it a draw.

The G-Men also traded Damon Harrison to Detroit for a 5. They’re tanking.

let's see what i actually said ... it's accurate. i still stand by those posts:
the giants were a 63 yard last second field goal from defeating a good team

the game they played sunday was anything but pathetic

the panthers are a strong team in a strong division
and despite that, the giants fought back to take the lead leaving the cardiac cats little time and a long field goal to re-take the lead for the win
a visiting team does not put a strong home team in that position if it is truly pathetic
net result is the panthers were fortunate to walk away with a win

So Pats fans are vigilantes when it comes to other players but they defend their own team when they cheat- pure hypocrisy.

Not really and the guy has been banned for life. Do you think only Patriots fans throw beer over players?

Yup. Pats fans also gave Hill the middle finger. They have no class.

Packers fans threw Diggs off the wall recently....You get in the fans faces bad things happen.

Not a bad time to be a sports fan in Michigan. U of M is doing great, Pistons 3-0 with BG scoring 50 last night, and now the Lions get Snacks ****ing Harrison for a measly 5th rounder! We couldn't have gotten a more important piece for our struggling against the run defense.

Sorry. A loss is a loss. "Almost won" doesn't cut it.
3-13 in a season, 1-6 in another one (for starters) *is* pathetic, in anybody's assessment but the homers', regardless of how the Giants may have "almost won" some games. They still lost. Non-pathetic teams find a way to win (like the Panthers did against the Giants).

If 1-and-6 is not pathetic, short of 0-and-7, I don't know what else is.

Look, your tenacity in praising the Giants is admirable. You're a good fan. But your fan bias is blinding you to the fact that the Giants are pathetic. And I'm saying so, while I actually like them (I used to live in New York City, for several years, and in general terms, I'm sympathetic to all New York teams).
