The scandal part is that the Baker meeting happened BEFORE the dossier investigation kicked off. That indicates, at a minimum, the FBI had full knowledge of where the dossier originated before it was used as the basis for the FISA warrant. It also backs up the Nunez claims that the footnote related to the origin of the dossier in that FISA warrant application was intentionally misleading.

It also undercuts the FBI assertion that the investigation at that point was in support of the Trump campaign when, clearly, the Trump investigation was in support of the Democrats since the FBI only shared the existence of the investigation with Trump's opponents.

It doesn't look like a scandal to some people because Democrat corruption is their preferred system of government.

In short, the agents who applied for the FISA warrants perjured themselves. That's a crime and FBI agents aren't above the law.

But then, that's why they they went through the FISA court; to cover up their crime.

The FBI has claimed that their efforts to surveil the Trump campaign were in order to protect the campaign from Russian influence. That goes out the window when it is shown that the FBI is also sharing details with DNC lawyers in the lead up to a warrant.

I mean, I know you have no choice but to be hyper-partisan, but you have evidence now that the FBI was meeting with the lawyers of the the DNC while investigating their opponents campaign. How can you not see the problem with that?
