[W:424]Parkland Students' Gun Control Proposal Is Beyond Radical

Good for Texas. I mean that. That is just great.

Of course people on here call you a bannerhoid for supporting that

If it were loopholes in the immigration laws, I would still get grief.

Anti-gunners don't care about people committing crimes or my rights. They just want my guns.

I understand fears of a database. I dont trust the government either. But we need to start closing these loopholes. Present that ID to buy ammo to and you have a very reasonable start
See thats where you lose me when you start talking about it being a start. Your language implies that you want to do more that prevent dangerous people to have guns. Why isnt that enough?

Well I am for certain people.......you are too

Certainly the insane or criminal elements shouldn't have access but, the problem is what protocols and agencies will decide who are those things.

That's just one slippery slope.

So to be clear.....you are in favor of gun confiscations?

How dare they present a plan to reduce getting shot in math class!!!

Staying in your bed all day is also a plan to reduce getting shot in public. Doesn't mean it is worth doing.

Which ones? Be very specific.

Registration and licensing.

A moron may decide it's not worth it and never get a gun.

Mass shooting averted

What was there to suggest someone that drove 9 hours to a Walmart to kill brown people would be stopped by registering his weapon?

Yeah, I knew you couldn't support that claim.

I dont care if you pretend not to know what the bc loophole is.

Everyone else does. You just look foolish

Can you prove it would not have stopped him?

You're making the claim in the positive that changing the law to limit the 2nd Amendment would improve safety and security. It is your responsibility to show that limiting the rights of Americans is worth it.

No it's not. No such proof has ever been required for any law at any time
