My standards are to continue to celebrate success, yours are to pray for failure. Limbaugh received the award which drives the left, those with TDS crazy, so that is a win on a number of accounts. you pay a lot of attention to rhetoric not so much to results. Limbaugh's results promoted conservative values which is another win for this country.

My sincere thanks to another poster here who provided the list of Medal of Freedom winners showing that this award to Limbaugh is typical left wing hate speech and rhetoric against someone who doesn't support your ideology

This is false. Moderate Democrats also have a problem with the extreme partisanship of the current Republican Party and recognize that Republicans do not view Democrats as legitimate participants in the same political and legal system. Limbaugh is one of the people that promoted this attitude.

Started listening to rush in Jr high.
loved his radio show and loved his commentary.

Stopped listening to him when i got into college.

Limbaugh was less like Bill Nye the Science Guy and much more like Joseph Goebbels.

I am sorry he is ill and I wish him a speedy recovery, but few people aside from Rush Limbaugh have done more to divide our country. He does not deserve this award.
