[W:3]Austin citizen who defended himself released

We'll see if that story sticks.

I'm sure you can explain why the Austin chief of police, as well as the city of Austin is pretending that Foster didn't fire his weapon. I mean I get that from the get go you were so sure the first 5 shots were from Foster's weapon, but now you're literally arguing against the statement made by the driver that shot Foster. :lamo

This could come down to whether Foster was actually pointing the weapon or approaching a vehicle that had just made a direct decision to drive head on into protestors, including his quadruple-amputee fiancee’s wheelchair.

I agree.

If he pointed it at the guy, the car guy had the right to self-defense.

So, that couple waving guns around at a crowd... should have been shot, right?

The car in question was not stopped as it enters the video. It goes around the corner (on the red light) and directly into the crowd of people. It's kind of odd with all the other cars at that intersection this one was the only one protestors paid attention to. Idk, maybe that's because none of the others decided to drive directly into the group?

The shooter was in a line of several cars at the intersection with the protesters coming from behind the stopped cars. They "paid attention", surrounded him and began beating on his car because he was honking at them to get out of the way.

Because they are exercising their constitutionally protected right to do it.

This guy was looking for a confrontation. In Michigan at the protest to open the state up there were 100s of armed protesters without incident. ONE SJW armed in the Austin protests and hes dead.

The video in no way supports your claim.

From the dashcam there is a white car to the left that backs up from view (meaning away from the intersection). There is a car facing the dashcam vehicle with the group of protestors walking to it's immediate left and toward the dashcam vehicle. To the right there is a vehicle (which initially had the green light) that is stopped and another behind it. Those cars were in a go straight or turn left lane. There is absolutely no car in the right-hand turn lane visible. And again, the protesters are about to cross in front of the vehicle to the right and toward the dashcam vehicle. When the light changed green for the dashcam vehicle they begin to move slowly (appearing to start a right-hand turn) and at that moment the shooters vehicle appears in the right-hand turn lane and without stopping for the red light before proceeding they turn into the group of protestors.

Notice out of all the vehicles in that video not a single one was bothered by the protesters with exception of one. The one that made an aggressive turn into them by choice.

I love all these claims being made, yet none of you seem to have even seen the video to make the claims.

I haven't seen a dash cam video, and that's not a dash cam video AND it shows 4 cars stopped at the light, like I said

What do you mean it's not a dashcam? It's a camera mounted on the dashboard of the vehicle for crying out loud.

Your claim was the shooter was in a line of several cars at the intersection, not that there were four cars stopped. But by all means show us the line of cars he was behind (with protestors coming from behind).

Foster was within his rights to carry a gun in public and the shooter in the car was within his rights to shoot someone carrying. Exactly what is the message Texas is trying to convey?

Stop attacking innocent citizens at insurgent road blocks.

Are we now saying the bearing arms at protest makes on not "peaceful"?

I am laughing at the left who hypocritically say that Americans don't need AK47's but then claim that a protester carrying an AK47 is a peaceful protester.
