“We are already seeing a serious decline—minus 28%,” Alikhanov stated, as quoted by Interfax. “But we are taking steps that we believe will allow us to avoid the projected 40% fall.”

According to Kommersant, the ministry is drafting new forms of targeted support for the automotive industry. Among the proposed solutions are adjustments to auto loan programs, government-backed incentives for buyers, and continued localization efforts for domestic production. The aim is to soften the blow of the Central Bank’s current interest rate of 20%, which has effectively frozen vehicle financing for much of the population.

The situation represents a sharp reversal from 2024, when the industry saw relative stability bolstered by state subsidies, an influx of Chinese brands, and pent-up post-pandemic demand. However, by mid-2025, that momentum has collapsed under the weight of macroeconomic tightening and reduced household purchasing power.

Russian car production, already struggling from years of sanctions, import disruptions, and brain drain, is now confronting a fresh contraction in demand. Consumers—facing tight credit, inflationary pressure, and economic uncertainty—are increasingly unwilling or unable to take out loans for new vehicles.

Analysts warn that without state intervention, car dealerships and manufacturers may face widespread closures before the end of the year.

>Ukraine used long-range drones on Friday to strike the Marinovka airbase in Russia's Volgograd region, over 270 miles from the front lines, destroying at least two Su-34 fighter-bomber aircraft. Russia uses Marinovka for its daily combat operations, but it has also functioned as a haven for dispersed aircraft taken from other threatened airbases.<

Hit 4 different targets inside Russia every day.

>"Nobody here is dragging anything out. We are focused on achieving the objectives we've set — and those we aim to accomplish during the special military operation — by political and diplomatic means. So we have no interest in prolonging anything"<

Moscow is in no hurry to enter into a cease-fire. Unlike US Republicans, the Russians are not at all fearful of Donald Trump.

>The Council of the EU has decided to extend the restrictive measures against Russia in connection with the ongoing actions to destabilize the situation in Ukraine. The sanctions have been extended for six months - until January 31, 2026. Currently, sanctions cover a wide range of sectors: trade, finance, energy, technology, dual-use goods, industry, transportation, and luxury goods. A ban has also been imposed on the import and transportation of Russian oil by sea and certain oil products to the EU.<

Sanctions - US and European - need to be updated and toughened. Donald Trump is an obstacle.

>Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed documents to ratify the Agreement on the Establishment of a Special Tribunal for the Crime of Russian Aggression Against Ukraine. "I have just signed the documents to ratify the Agreement on the Establishment of a Special Tribunal for the Crime of Russian Aggression Against Ukraine. This Agreement was recently signed between our state and the Council of Europe and now needs to be promptly ratified to initiate the actual process of establishing the Tribunal," the President of Ukraine said.<

In contrast, Donald Trump ordered that the DoJ unit that investagates/tracks Russian war crimes be disbanded. Trump also ordered that the FBI unit responsible for combatting Russian interference in US elections and Russian cyber-espionage be disbanded. Donald Trump as president is like having a FSB agent sitting in the Oval Office....

>The Russian army has used a new drone called Chernika to strike the city of Kharkiv for the first time, reports the mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov. Kharkiv has suffered 16 enemy attacks just in the past week. Most often, the enemy used Shahed drones. “But specialists from the State Emergency Service have also recorded for the first time a strike by a new type of drone called Chernika,” Terekhov said. This drone is similar in warhead power to the Molniya drone but has a different design.<

The Chernika-2 is a lightweight “flying wing” drone with a cruising speed of 75 km/h, an operational range of up to 80 kilometers, and a flight ceiling below 1.5 kilometers. It carries a 3.5-kilogram warhead and is equipped with a terminal guidance system, allowing it to strike targets even when control or GPS signals are jammed. The body color - black - suggests that it is principally intended for night operations.

>The Russian army attacked the city of Kryvyi Rih with a drone during the day on Monday, June 30. The strike was carried out near the building of the Territorial Recruitment Center, according to the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Thanks to the timely security measures upon the air raid alert, it was possible to avoid injuries and losses among the personnel," the statement said. The military personnel and civilian employees of the institution were not receiving citizens and were in a shelter during the alert. Nevertheless, some civilians near the facility were injured.<

There may be a pro-Russia spotter in the area.

Meanwhile, Trump has cancelled delivery of ADs to Ukraine. What a turkey shit.

Time to have some fun :D

I'd suggest sharing this with the West. See if our military R&Ds can find some workarounds to Russia's EW systems.
