[W:176]Dem Rep. Joaquin Castro: Here’s a list of the names of max Trump donors from my hometown

Re: [W:176]Dem Rep. Joaquin Castro: Here’s a list of the names of max Trump donors from my hometow

Wishful thinking that Castro is going to get away with this malfeasance. There's an ethics investigation, too.

An ethics investigation for what - releasing public information?

This will go over about as well as your investigations into Hillary’s emails.

Good luck! You’re gonna need it!

Re: [W:176]Dem Rep. Joaquin Castro: Here’s a list of the names of max Trump donors from my hometow

This is why political donations should be confidential. This information is being put out so that the Leftist terrorists can intimidate, perhaps even harm these donors. Also, this is more evidence that we need to be able to excercise our 2A rights.

Dem Rep. Joaquin Castro: Here's a list of the names of max Trump donors from my hometown, to do with as you wish

Doxxing, huh. Yeah, I can see how having your named published as a maximum donor to Trump could be seen as an act of malice. This compares
to the praise that would have been implicit, and the pride taken, in having your named published as a maximum donor to Obama.

Re: [W:176]Dem Rep. Joaquin Castro: Here’s a list of the names of max Trump donors from my hometow

You can't quote me because it does not exist. You lied send now your trying to 3swuirm out it without taking responsiblity.
So you say.

All I can do is post a review of what's been posted.

Perhaps you are unable to see where you responded to my posts about phone books by expressing your concern that it would lead to "doxxing" liberals.
Or, perhaps you are unable to understand your comment and its implications in its context?
Idk
But I doubt that reposting your comments will make a light bulb go off in your head and you will suddenly understand.

Re: [W:176]Dem Rep. Joaquin Castro: Here’s a list of the names of max Trump donors from my hometow

Yeah, that's it.
LOL

Idk if you think that if we made it easier for politicians to engage in corruption, that politicians would engage in more corruption?
Maybe you trust politicians?

But if we make even easier for govt officials to take money in secret, it will increase the ability of politicians to engage in corruption.
It seems to me [ but maybe not to you — maybe you trust politicians, idk ] that making it easier for politicians to take money in secret will increase the levels of corruption.

Feel free to explain how making it easier for politicians to be corrupt will not cause politicians to engage in more corruption.

Voters can remove a corrupt politician and the next election. The law can investigate and convict a corrupt politician. Democracy prevails.

But if the process of voting is corrupted through intimidation and threat, Democracy no longer exists.

Just look at Russia, Venezuela, China, etc...……….

There is no ethics investigation. It's the same Trump worshipping lawyer filing a complaint. He already did that to AOC, months ago, and nothing ever happened. And he filed a bunch of complaints against Clinton in 2016 - and nothing happened. I think the FEC probably laughs now when he submits something.

Castro is not in trouble. The names are a matter of public record. This entire thread it fake outrage by the Trump panty tossers. Again.

Are we at the point where we can point and laugh again, like we did over the investigations into Hillary’s emails?

We need another 10 investigations into Hillary. At least. Maybe after Peter Strzok is hung on the village square, Andrew McCabe moves into Epstein's now vacated cell, and Jim Comey is outed as Lindsey Graham's secret lover.

Hannity is still calling for investigations into Hillary.

So is that idiot Jeanine Pirro.

Those two know their audiences.

Not all wrongdoing and malfeasance is illegal.
When state parties and legislators take money from interests outside the state, that may not necessarily be illegal.
But it's not exactly serving the interests of the state's electorate.
If the electorate is unable to discover this sort of malfeasance, they will be unable to make an informed decision to remove the politician.

Additionally, illegal wrongdoing would also made harder to detect and harder to prove by your suggestion.

The detection of wrongdoing would be hampered by your suggestion.
Increasing the difficulty in detecting wrongdoing increases the likelihood that wrongdoing will be done by potential wrongdoers.

But if the process of voting is corrupted through intimidation and threat, Democracy no longer exists.
Just look at Russia, Venezuela, China, etc...……….
This information has been publicly available for at least decades.
Have we been without democracy this whole time?

How long have followers of a specific political party been encouraged to confront, intimidate, and in many cases, seek to personally and professionally destroy them?

I've made my case. You disagree? Fine.

So you want to pull guns off the streets instead of the criminals using them?
Public information doesn't intimidate voters, people do.

Why not focus on the folks who're doing the bad things instead of making it easier for govt officials to hide their corruption?
