[W:167]Happy Birthday Oswald Mosley

A group of cowards attacking an old man. That's your idea of bravery. It's little wonder why these cowards are always trying to get others to do their fighting for them.
Well, oh Soldier of Odin, let's see you use your time machine and march into Cable Street then. Don't forget your black shirt.

Now it's most large companies instead of just media and finance. Lol! Keep spreading the word.

It does no good. You know that what I'm saying is true, but you celebrate it.

Mosley was anticommunism, and wanted to prevent runaway capitalism. He was never anti-Jewish, but his detractors in the media and academia posited the idea that being an anticommunist as well as a staunch critic of the perils of capitalism = antisemitism. That tells you all you need to know.

So you never heard of the "PJ" greeting his fascists used to give each other? What do you think the Battle of Cable Street was all about too?

THIS is what we remember of that parasite Moseley.

When local communities rose up to defeat Moseley's fascist blackshirts.

I think the person who thanked your post misunderstood the message of your picture and comment.

Infinite Chaos:

Felis Leo is a very smart cookie and a rigorously analytical poster. While he may not be aware of the events in East London in October 1936, I'm sure he gets the meaning of the photo. I am also sure he has a good measure of the OP's agenda and character.

I remember listening to an older fellow brought into my Fifth Form History class in Bristol to speak to the students about fascism. The wiskered fellow knew personally and dispised Mosley, but that was long ago, in a different Britain from today. Mosely himself was still alive and only recently retired from politics some four years before that time and his beliefs had not mellowed or moderated over time.

The spores of fascism are everywhere, ready to bloom and spread their corrupt and viscious tendrils. From Mosley to the Mayfair crowd, to the a City, to the present day Conservative Party leadership these spores bide their time and wait for the opportunity to turn Briton against Briton with pernicious xenophobia, malignant nationalism and rapacious greed.

Cheers.
Evilroddy.

I have just returned from reading Wikipedia's article about Sir Oswald.

I will remember only one fact: After Sir Oswald had died, his son reported that the family had received many notes of condolence. There were no abusive notes about Sir Oswald's career. "All that was a very long time ago," his son explained.

Since several posters here seem to think that the Cable Street Battle of 1936 is a scathing indictment against Mosley, I'd like to present some actual facts about that day.

Mosley chose to lead a march through the East End because it was the capital of British Communists at the time. The leader of the Communists on that day was Phil Piratin, a Jew who swore allegiance to the USSR, and authored a book entitled, 'Our Flag Stays Red', an open reference to his loyalty to Stalin's Soviet Union over Britain.
Mosley's marchers were outnumbered nearly 7:1 in Cable Street, the BUF amounted to 3000, while the demonstrators were 20,000. The BUF quit the march early on, which dissapointed the rabid Communists, who then proceded to spend the next several hours attacking and fighting police officers. Most of the fighting on Cable Street that day consisted of Communists throwing rocks and various liquids on police. In fact, membership in the BUF increased dramatically after the Cable Street incident, as Brits were appalled by Jewish Communists and anarchists openly attacking police officers after Mosley's forces had already gone home. The Cable Street communists were precursors of today's Antifa radicals, who go round bullying anyone who has the misfortune to cross their path, always using the excuse that their 'fighting teh Nazis'. In reality these types hate police officers, and anyone who values a nice, safe, orderly society. The good guys didn't win the Cable Street Battle. Look at East London today, and the descendents of the Cable Street commie agitators- they're radically anti-British.

"cowards"

The fascist will always be the ultimate coward, too afraid of change and anything not like themselves.

Imagine trying to make Moseley into a hero.

it's public information. Go research it. Americans are too apathetic and ***** whipped to notice that this minority is currently taking over most large companies now, by using private equity firms to weaken them, and then forcing them to sell.

joooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooz!!!!1

Guess who threw stones at police that day, and got arrested? It wasn't the BUF.

Imagine trying to make Moseley into a hero.

I know. He never learned not to mess with striking workers even after he and his black shirts were sent packing

Muhahahahaha

By everything you demonstrate, you and facts don't even talk to each other.

Any attempt of "representation"by you being as hilarious as your continued but totally futile attempts of pretending to others that you know anything about Europe overall, any individual country there in particular, or, as demonstrated today, about Cable Street.

The whole pathetic spectacle exacerbated by your lies over how Mosley was never anti-semitic.

I don't hide my views here Hari, and I'm not going to sugar coat the truth.

We already know what you are. You are bound to lose. My suggestion is give up but then again neo nazis tend to want to kill people that leave their cult.

History has issued its judgment on Mosley and lumps him in with other fascists from that era. He definitely sound like one very dark individual.

I notice that he was used as a main character on the latest season of PEAKY BLINDERS and the portrayal was not positive at all. He comes off as a vicious monster.

When you are right you are right. You certainly don't hide your bigoted views and overt racism. As for truth I believe the Nazi's made similar claims.

He was, he deployed usual tactics of attacking laborers that were striking to push them into getting back to work. The only reason he didnt want war was because he loved Hitler.

We know police protected fascists. You guys love to hide behind them. Otherwise you get your ass kicked.

The police were acting on orders from the Home Secretary. You guys can only fight 7 on 1, otherwise you get your asses kicked

Says the guy who admires the guy who ordered black shirts to beat laborers to get them back to work at their wage slave jobs. Again its not a dick measuring contest, its about stopping genocidal monsters by any means necessary. Mosely lost. Get over it.
