Buzzfeeds claims stated their sources are in law enforcement. Well if they are in law enforcement then there needs to be an investigation started on who these characters are for they claim to know all about the Mueller investigation citing documents and everything else. The acting AG should open up an investigation immediately.


You really need to go back and read Mueller's response again. It highlighted Buzzfeed's reporting to be inaccurate in three parts.

1. specific statements made
2. documents obtained
3. testimony obtained

Muellers team has been tight as a drum since day one. It follows that the likeliest culprits (if any) are from SDNY.

All we know is that Mueller said the report was NOT ACCURATE. All that means is that it was not error free or perfect. Time will tell how accurate it was or was not.

I think it is obvious that Robert Mueller will not be rushed. Like it or not - that is reality.

I have long suspected that the real big shoes to drop - indictments of Trump family members and the damning report - will come at the very end when even if Trump loses all control and fires Mueller - its already a done deal.

It's not so much an issue whether Mueller will be rushed to give the answers. It's whether he is even asking the questions. And because we don't know, we get the insanity.
I mean, how nuts is it that we need to wait for Mueller to tell us whether there is any legitimate and credible reason to suppose whether Trump is a Russian spy? Never mind the answer to the question- simply whether it's reasonable to speculate. It's madness. We shouldn't be doing this.

Part of a journalist's job involves investigating the backgrounds of controversial or important public figures. Yet journalists themselves largely feel that they're beyond such scrutiny, and in fact, their particular background is usually obscured unless they get caught publishing whoppers.

I do not dispute the wisdom of some of your observations. I also would like answers and want them yesterday.

Having said that, I am reminded of the old saw about if you attempt to kill the king you better damn well succeed in your attempt. The Dems are going to get one real shot at deposing Trump and they had better have their metaphorical cannon (impeachment) filled with ammunition that will take him down because that is the only opportunity they will get. And I suspect the Dems in Congress expect Mr. Mueller to supply the ammunition for their canon. So they are willing to wait and do it right so to speak.

The Democrats aren't waiting for Mueller. They are conducting their own investigations. And Mueller doesn't work for them-- he works for the Executive Dept. His job isn't to find information for them to justify impeachment.
