As most people know, and for those who would like to know, I am strongly Pro-Life, with the three exceptions - Rape, Incest and protecting the Life of the mother - the same position taken by Ronald Reagan. We have come very far in the last two years with 105 wonderful new.....

Look at how many other issues he's done a 180 on. For Don supporters, then doesn't exist, only now...

Re: Which Trump do you agree with

Perhaps you should add the Trump of later to those choices - because his positions tend to evolve rather rapidly.

Re: Which Trump do you agree with

That was just "locker room talk". Doesn't mean anything. Just like his previous two marriages and Trump university. Forget em.

Nothing matters to Trump outside of his own fantasy world. He’s been a prolific amoral liar and conman his entire life. Like his father.

They do, but they can be difficult to predict.

I remember when I used to bring up the fact Trump that had positions that Trump-tards vehemently disagreed with. I would bring up the fact that Trump hung out the with the Clintons, donated money to establishment democrats and establish republicans, even had the Clintons at his wedding, praised Obama before jumping on the birther-tard band wagon, praised the job the establishment politicians did, and donated money to the very person he was running against and her foundation. Trump-tards would just use the "But that was yesterday he said that" or some other version of that excuse. Some of the Trump-tards would bring up the fact Reagan used to be a democrat forgetting that Reagan said the democrat left him, he didn't leave the democrat party implying his views didn't change it was the democrat party's views that changed. While ignoring the fact that Trump changes his positions more often than a indecisive porn star. Some of the Trump-tards would claim thats just the price of doing business as though somehow wealthy liberal democrats donated to Bush, Reagan other other republicans.

Re: Which Trump do you agree with

I love how nobody has come to the defense of trump here. Denial is strong with them. This is the true face of trump derangement syndrome.

Are these an actual evolution of positions or are these politicians just saying things they think will get them elected? I would say the later.

Bidens positions have evolved as has obamas and clintons.

True Biden, Clinton and Obama have changed their positions. But I think the issue with Trump is the frequency and how close to the presidency he has changed his positions. I didn't vote for Trump, I mocked Trump-tards who spew nonsense like Trump is an outsider or Trump tells it like it is and have some other **** to Trump-tards. But I do appreciate the fact he is trying to secure the border. That got us out of that Paris climate accord.I like the tax cuts. I like his zero tolerance on the border. I like fact he is trying to get a better trade deal with China that doesn't leave us with a trade deficit like the other administrations seemed fine with and trying to bring jobs back to the US. I realize that because of globalist and illegal alien testicle lickers in office he most likely won't accomplish those things or they will be done half assed..

I keep pointing out to people that Trump was adamantly pro-choice, up to and including partial birth abortion. But the cult mentality is real. His fans ignore the truth.

Trump is a fraud. He's lying to the idiotic pro-lifers to get their votes.

Re: Which Trump do you agree with

Trump doesn't have core values. He is playing the part of a Rush-Hannity caricature come to life because the rubes who believe such things appear to be very gullible.

No...now!

Wait...now!

Hold on...now!

He hated Abortion then and he hates Abortion now.

Like any other thinking individual, his understanding of the state of life in the womb should reasonably be expected to impact his opinion in this topic.

Has your own understanding regarding the various scientific advances impacting the definition of life in the womb over the last 20 years not made any impact on your own understanding of the questions surrounding this topic?

My guess is that real world information of any sort has no impact on your opinions, but I felt the question needed to be asked.

Was this a 180?

He leads his answer by stating pretty directly that he hated abortion both then and now.

He said he hated abortion then and he hates abortion now.

Do you love abortion?

Trump has always been a Dem. He ran as a Republican because Dems would never have accepted him as a candidate.

^^ idiotic inflammatory comment. Another Trumpster tool used to deflect.

To put this into perspective, Trump supported the Clinton position that Abortion should be legal and RARE.

The current Democrat position is that abortion should be employed as often as possible and employed even if the baby to be aborted is already born.

The debate on this issue has evolved and EVERYONE'S position should have evolved as a result.

Those with rigid and crippled minds, prone to the regimentation of the agenda produced by their elites, seem unable to accept new ideas and so adapt to a changing set of data and information.

Quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson: “A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of littl...”

[h=1]“A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines. With consistency a great soul has simply nothing to do. He may as well concern himself with his shadow on the wall. Speak what you think now in hard words, and to-morrow speak what to-morrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said to-day. — 'Ah, so you shall be sure to be misunderstood.' — Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood.”[/h]

It seems like his position has changed on the policy, but not on the dislike of abortion as a choice of action by the individual.

This is not a huge change in terms of personal belief on his part.

I'm pleased to read that you appreciate the actual things of importance that he has done and is doing.

His policy position changed. Could be that he is actually conscious of the real world changes in the scientific understanding of life in the womb.

Could be that he feels that as POTUS, he needs to set a better example. The actions of a young man change dramatically when he becomes a role model as a father.

Basically Trump does whatever he thinks will show him in a favourable light at any one time; inconsistency means nothing to him. It's all ego-driven, the poor insecure little man needs all the affirmation he can get.

Re: Which Trump do you agree with

Trump doesn't have core values. He is playing the part of a Rush-Hannity caricature come to life because the rubes who believe such things appear to be very gullible.

Well, maybe his messaging will improve during his second term.

Trump has always been a Dem. He ran as a Republican because Dems would never have accepted him as a candidate.

The Democrat Primary was rigged.

The Democrat Party is Socialist.

The Democrat Party loves Abortion.

There was nothing for him in the Democrat Party.
