Why, poor Netherlands? They made the finals and they played a damn good game! You obviously know nothing about sports. This is a young and up and coming team. I expect great things from them in the future.

Millions of Americans beg to differ with your assessment that not standing for the national anthem isn't "dissing the nation." Like I said, Rapinoe's a disgrace. I'm just eager to go back to forgetting about women's soccer. I didn't even know they'd already won three World Championships until a few days ago. They're bragging because they had $1 million more in ticket sales than the men did, which is less than 1% of what the University of Alabama pulls in during a season from its men's football program. :doh I mean, who cares? It's soccer, and women's soccer at that! :lol:

Yeah, actually I did have a problem with it, but I had a bigger problem with Hillary's role in the Benghazi fiasco, where people, including our ambassador to Libya, died. She needed to lose.

I joined this site in 2017, so I'm just curious. During the Obama years, with all the racial slurs, conspiracy theories, and birther arguments that I'm sure our right wing friends put forward, did anyone, ever once, accuse them of being anti-American?

I love it. While I don't believe that Rapinoe is an inherently evil person, I consider her woefully misguided. She has no idea why she's kneeling, other than "to support Colin" and shame the US. Two rebels without a clue ... whose actions only serve to fuel the predominant notion that the left has become completely and unapologetically anti-American. Good luck with that.

Even the trump, anthem and flag hater... can't recall her name... says she knows pay is complicated. Men own the women in terms of pay, viewers and revenue worldwide. So fifa pays far more for men. These means men are going to be paid more.
