You do realize who will be paying all these tariffs, right?Trump is doing a great job. He is very impressive.

Then you are taking a tiny bit of data tht is inconclusive.
I realize I could be paying some percentage of the tariffs. If rebates are executed, I could be getting more of a rebate of my taxes than the tariffs negatively affected me. That is if they eventually negatively affect me. So far they do not seem to be.You do realize who will be paying all these tariffs, right?
Because they are not yet in effect.I realize I could be paying some percentage of the tariffs. If rebates are executed, I could be getting more of a rebate of my taxes than the tariffs negatively affected me. That is if they eventually negatively affect me. So far they do not seem to be.
...and since no one knows what the amount of these supposed checks are supposed to be or who will qualify, it could all be vaporware.Because they are not yet in effect.
Nah.
You’re making egotistical posts in which you purport to know better than over 170 other governments. I can’t take such a person seriously.
Protectionism is used to prevent the decay or nurture infant industry. You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.Sure…which is why every single country who engages in international trade utilizes tariffs. The whole world is stupid, including every government that’s ever utilized tariffs, but you know better than all 170+ of them, eh?
Get out of here with that nonsense.
consider a tariff a tax.LOL. So I'm paying more to get some of it back in a stimulus check?
This is doing nothing with extra steps.
“Pushing for” or “currently implementing” to force trade partners to the negotiation table?
Those are two very different things.
The US was always going to sign a trade deal with the EU because not doing so would be simple madness.
This was always going to happen no matter who was in charge.
"Wins"? It takes two to make a deal. If the EU felt they were getting stiffed there would be no deal.Trump wins again. Liberals are wrong as usual though they'll continue to show they're stupidity by insisting this will be a tax on Americans.
Expecting a big day in the markets Monday. Staying long and strong.
I wouldn't start celebrating just yet...Trump wins again. Liberals are wrong as usual though they'll continue to show they're stupidity by insisting this will be a tax on Americans.

You call an increase in your tariff taxes a win? Only in Trumpland does increasing living costs result in celebration.Excellent deal for the US. It looks like the EU literally got nothing in the deal.
We have great California sparkling wine. BMWs suck and what makes butter with a little milk added to soften it, better?Great news. Now American companies can make Champagne, BMWs and Kerrygold.
how are liberals/left spinning all these trade deals ?
gawd they have to hate it
And now the prices of all those substitutes will go up because the competition just got 15% more expensive. We have great California sparkling wine. BMWs suck and what makes butter with a little milk added to soften it, better?
yep, just like, for example:And now the prices of all those substitutes will go up because the competition just got 15% more expensive.
TACO bitch Trump folds yet again.Trump wins again. Liberals are wrong as usual though they'll continue to show they're stupidity by insisting this will be a tax on Americans.

You say that like they were already planning trade talks without Trump. This only happened because Trump pushed for it.
The EU went along with it because they need a boost to their economy. They have a third more population and three quarters the GDP of the US.
Ok, you can fret about the African countries all you want.It was simple English. Far more trade deals were expected earlier this month based on this president's hyperbole. Exponentially less have been delivered and well after the deadline, with now an extension set for China. If someone doesn't like their hyperbole called out, then perhaps not making ridiculous claims is a start.
well america was "thriving" before trump.Ok, you can fret about the African countries all you want.
He's getting the only important ones done. The market is at an all-time high, inflation is under control, and America is thriving already.
Everything you predicted didn't happen. And you hate it.
Why is a 15% surtax on all imports from Europe "mutually beneficial"?You’re really upset about a mutually beneficial trade deal with the EU, eh? Why does it bother you so much when good things happen for our country?
Not a fan of the US economy or something?
Trump is everything Putin and Xi could wish for.Trump is doing a great job. He is very impressive.
Basically free international trade was one of America's and the world's greatest post-WWII achievements. The economic benefits have been spectacular. Now Trump is seriously degrading that achievement.Sure…which is why every single country who engages in international trade utilizes tariffs. The whole world is stupid, including every government that’s ever utilized tariffs, but you know better than all 170+ of them, eh?
