If Eric Swalwell is aware of any "extortion scheme" he should point it out with some evidence handy. This guy has been making claims like this for at least two years. none with any evidence, but still manages to have credibility in a few ever diminishing circles.

The Demos have been on the attack for over three years now with nothing to show for it. Now stooges like Swalwell well have a
a chance to repeat his charges in a trial, so let's see how far he goes on that. Rachel Maddow will not be the judge.

abuse of power= 1) use of impeachment power by only one political faction
2) use of impeachment power when there is no crime
3) House declaring itself superior to Executive Branch

Look, I'm not sure what you're getting at here. You denied that Abuse of Power was a higher level blanket charge covering things like extortion in the House Articles of Impeachment. I gave you the sources where the author of the Articles explained it is. Do with that what you want ...

obviously if there is extortion there is an obvious high crime like treason or bribery. Jails are filled with people who commit obvious crimes, but not not with those who abuse their power, a charge that could be leveled at any president.
