Trump had a good thing going. Via Twitter, he was effectively communicating with his base. Then his paranoia, narcissism, and uncontrolled anger kicked in and he started a feud with Twitter because they had the temerity to fact check Trump's lies on some of his tweets.
Now Twitter is on a roll and has labeled another of Trump’s tweets — this time screening his words from casual view with what it calls a “public interest notice” that states the tweet violated its rules about glorifying violence.
A smart politician does not take a communication company, especially one the politician is relying on for support. The communication company always has the last word, and there isn't a thing the politician can do about it.
Please note, I said a "smart politician." That lets out Trump. How did this pathetic, child-like, little man become our President? Those that voted for him and those that let it happen have got to be asking themselves that question.
Trump is so pathetic, his followers do not even bother defending him any more.
It is no secret that what he said was directed against the police. Any simple minded moron would know that. If that is not the case then Kaep needs to come clean before his words are used by some nut to assassinate a policeperson.
The reader. There are facts for every position - abortion, gun control, Obamacare, whatever. Fact check police usually have their own agenda and use the facts that prove their side while ignoring the facts that don't. Who fact checks the fact check police?
What would the logistics on that operations look like?
There're over 300,000,000 Twitter users
and more than 500,000,000 tweets a day
Maybe they could just focus on just the more influential accounts since those have the greatest impact
Twitter doesn't give a **** about me. All they give a **** about is their own anti-Trump bias.
