Twitter co-founder apologizes for helping elect Trump[W:37]

Re: Twitter co-founder apologizes for helping elect Trump

I didn't read that post of yours. Again, get back on topic and stop talking about me.

It is on topic. In that he. like I, was showing you that you are being a hypocrite when you said it's all about ideas winning or losing.

Re: Twitter co-founder apologizes for helping elect Trump

Do you even realize that I have talked Captain for 100+ pages in threads over the last several years? Do you even realize that in those threads the majority of his posts are not even sharing ideas, but are only belittling comments?

I debated him for 18 months on his favorite topic. I am very familiar with his style. It is what it is.

I'm not against Captain sharing ideas, but against him harassing me endlessly. Learn the difference.

You don't debate Captain as he isn't interested in the exchange of ideas. The only thing Captain does is claim he is the winner while filing his posts with insults. If I decided to respond to that post in the other thread what do you think Captain would have done? Do you think he would have suggested that I'm stupid and claim that I do nothing black and white thinking? Yeah, he would have.

Re: Twitter co-founder apologizes for helping elect Trump

There is a difference between making fun of people with belittling comments over several years and sharing political view points. There is no exchange of political view points by calling someone else stupid or ignorant repeatedly for years on end.

The times they are a'changin'.
There are plenty of resources nowadays for "men" who are consistently bullied.

I encourage you to seek help,
As it would be a shame for this board to lose you if you simply can't take it anymore.
You should reach out.

I only need the behavior to stop. It would be nice if the rest of the mod staff stepped up and did their job frankly.

If someone debates as you say above, it seems to me it would be all that much easier to show your arguments are more sound.

I never said it wasn't easy. He is again though not debating. A debate is an exchange of ideas, not just calling the other side inferior to you over and over again.

Re: Twitter co-founder apologizes for helping elect Trump

Self-abasing apology and crocodile tears. Trump brings Twitter revenue and this apology is just another method to stir marketable controversy.

Slimy... but what do you expect of these social media tycoons.

He's under tremendous pressure by the liberals to distance himself from free speech to begin with. Freedom has a cost. I don't fault him for backing away while hiding bags of cash behind his back. It's not honorable but not unexpected.

Re: Twitter co-founder apologizes for helping elect Trump

That dude is a liberal hack. The sharing of ideas might lead to your ideas losing or they might lead to them winning. If he can't accept such simple terms then maybe he should consider shutting down Twitter.

I can't imagine how anyone other than Trump would miss it.

Twitter co-founder apologizes for helping elect Trump

After 121 days in office, Trump is still tweeting self-serving and venomous "extremes".

I think all of Trump's idiotic tweets during both the primaries and general hurt him more than helped him. Trump was always putting his foot in his mouth via twitter and he hasn't stopped. The only reason Trump is president is that the Democrats decided to run about the only candidate that could lose to him. A candidate as much disliked by America as a whole as Trump was.

My question is when are the Democrats going to face reality and realize it was the candidate that lost the election. Almost any other Democrat would be sitting in the White House today. The Democrats go around blaming everything and everyone except the one person responsible for her own loss and those that nominated her. Get wise, learn from history, by god, don't repeat it.

Re: Twitter co-founder apologizes for helping elect Trump

It's what voters seem to have liked....
....and a man that apologizes for improving the free flow of information has something very sinister about him.
You mean "the free flow of [unfettered propaganda] information" shows something very sinister about the Alt Right that supported Donald Trump.
