Tucker Carlson: Stepmother Of Police Officer Charged In Rayshard Brooks Shooting Fired From Her Job.

Not exactly. The employer can't discriminate against an employee. Just like if an employee posts on social.media about being gay, there's nothing the employee can do about that.

Employers can indeed discriminate against an employee, so long as it is not based on race, sex or other enumerated categories.

Another right wing victim card fail.

Trump really is a sick man. Speaking with CBN News in an interview that aired today, Trump offered, without evidence, that Obama had committed treason for spying on his campaign.

"It's treason," Trump said. "Look, when I came out a long time ago, I said they've been spying on my campaign. I said they've been taping, and that was in quotes, meaning a modern day version of taping, it's all the same thing. But a modern day version. But they've been spying on my campaign."

Good Lord, there is no evidence that Obama spied on Trump's campaign or committed any acts that remotely resembles treason.

This is all pure fantasy for his gullible base. They will believe it.

the Tucker viewers are the same suckers that Trump conned.

none of this is surprising.

The work of a 10-year-old mind.

I'll hang this on the fridge along with your stick figure drawings. Now go out and play with your friends in the Klan.

So basically this innocent woman was effectively professionally lynched out of deference to the wildly erratic and infantile demands and/or fears of SOME in the Black community in Atlanta.

Really nice. What ever happened to due process? What does "justice" mean if people are fine with this kind injustice?

No matter. All this cancel culture and idiocy will do is re-elect Donald Trump. Because the blame for something like this doesn't land on the Republicans, it lands on the Democrats and the liberals who's SILENCE over the cancel culture is their guilt.

Seems to me, based on Carlson’s previous journalism, there is more to this than Tucker knows or is willing to tell. If not, she might have a serious case, depending on the company’s personnel policy. No way she should be fired for her connection to the officer. That’s Trump justice.

The truth is she was fired for something she did at her job. Not because of who she was. We don't know what she did to get fired. Of course, that doesn't stop Carlson from stoking White victimization. Poor oppressed Tucker Carlson.

What's so infantile about police officers doing their job? You are only supposed to shoot suspects if you feel you or others are in danger. A drunk man running is no threat to anyone.

Second, you don't know why she was fired. The company said it was because of something she did or said on the job to create an uncomfortable workplace. You're just jumping to defend her without knowing what it is she did. Maybe she used the N-word. You don't know. But here you are defending her because your mind is made up and this is what you want to believe.

Obviously the black community told a mortgage company to fire her. Get real. The company either fired her for cause we are unaware of, unjustly because they thought she made them look bad being connected to the officer, or for some other reason yet to be revealed. They didn’t kneel on her head for eight minutes. You are lynching the company before the facts are in.

Whoa! Hold a second there professor. I was under the impression that Brooks wasn't shot for running away; he shot for turning and firing a taser at the officer. The taser he had just stolen from another officer after violently attacking that officer including the one who shot Brooks.

So please accept my apology for not having "the facts" straight. So glad you came along to correct the record. Yeah, shooting someone just for running away... who would do that? This isn't North Korea.

Second, you don't know why she was fired. The company said it was because of something she did or said on the job to create an uncomfortable workplace.

Geeze I wonder what that could have been? Maybe defending herself or her son after comments were made accusing him of "shooting an innocent man in back while running away" maybe? Or could have been not agreeing with the mob mentality which already has her son tried and convicted before a trial? Maybe that made someone "uncomfortable"? Because in today's culture just about anything could make a co-worker CLAIM to FEEL uncomfortable. Wearing the wrong style of earrings might make someone "feel uncomfortable". Yeah, because "feeling uncomfortable" is such an objective standard today, right?

You're just jumping to defend her without knowing what it is she did. Maybe she used the N-word. You don't know. But here you are defending her because your mind is made up and this is what you want to believe.

If she used the "N-word" then that would be a good reason to get fired. But like you said, none of us know yet. But we do know is that she is innocent of anything her son is accused of, right? In fact her son is presumed to be innocent anyway, right? That is the standard in this country, a presumption of innocence.

And if she it true she did something illegal like driving 4 times over the legal limit in the company car, and then attacking two cops and then was accused of shooting at them with a stolen taser, then I will be the first to agree that she should be fired... and lucky if she is alive. Meanwhile it is on the company who fired this woman who's family is currently in the spotlight to say what the reason was. Because saying some weasel speak crap like "making someone uncomfortable" is hardly a standard to apply. If she used the "n-word" and they have proof, then say so. She won't get any sympathy from me.

My spidey sense tells me there is some BS going on. Some of that 'cancel culture crap at play. A illogical standard where ANYONE can end up fired. Heck my post here would get me fired from my job if I signed my real name to it. Because certainly my frank and honest comments would make some snowflake somewhere "feel uncomfortable".

Well call it turnaround is fair play, because clearly her son had virtually been tried and convicted without due process by first the Atlanta mayor, his police agency, the local DA, and much of the media and the country---including the rioters who burned down the Wendy's near the incident. I watched the entire police bodycam including the surveillance video above Wendy's and what I saw was a justifiable use of deadly force against a violent criminal who fired at a peace officer. So unless there is some other evidence "to be revealed" like the officer bragging about shooting him some African-Americans tonight, then I will figure his mother was likely treated without fairness as well.

If the company fired her bowing to pressure against their business due to public opinion--- even unfounded opinion. Then there will be a standard for the woman to seek civil recourse and damages. Including punitive damages. Which I would assume the company factored into their decision. How much money will it cost us to keep her and lose business, vs how much will we pay out in civil damages to her if it turns out their reason for firing her was due to unfounded bias. All about the money.

No he doesn't! And neither does anyone in the thread. But that doesn't stop them! :doh

Let me see if I have this right:

1. It's totally unacceptable to jump to the conclusion that they fired her because of her stepson.

2. It's totally acceptable, NO, MANDATORY, to jump to the conclusion that Brooks (and George Floyd) was killed because he was black.

Does that about sum it up?

You are right, there is too much premature trying and convicting in our political culture these days. We all may be at fault, but it started at the top some time ago with Trump, as far back as his lynch mob ads on the Central Park Five. I think things will get better once he leaves office in a year or five, but we may be damaged for a bit past that.

Hopefully five years, and I say that because a Biden presidency and the BOWING down to the far left progressives including BLM and similar occupy types is counter productive. Call Trump what you like, but he is the better choice to get American and Americans back to work. Like James Carvell the advisor for Bill Clinton said in the '90s about what the people needed at that moment "It's the economy stupid!" And he was right then and Trump is similarly right now.

So I wouldn't worry about 5 more years of Trump. I lived through more years under LBJ, 4 years under Carter, and 8 years under W. Trump is a walk in the park compared to all of that mess. We'll be fine, and hopefully China will be back on their heels those rat bastards.

No offense, but Biden will hardly bow down to the far left. What I worry about Trump and "back to work" is his attitude towards workers. Little remembered were two things from near the beginning of his term. He approved a pesticide that was under study and might have been banned but for him, ending the study. It is linked to birth defects. He also removed consideration of a company's safety record in the granting of government contracts. You can bet Biden would undo those things. I and my parents were workers. From time to time we got various injuries, given decades on the job. Trump will take the votes from working people and screw them. All he offers -- to the non-minority ones -- is a sense that they are better than their darker-skinned neighbors.

And I cannot believe that a guy responsible for Trump University, the Trump Foundation, and for what Bolton recently revealed is not a danger to the country. He invited both Russia and, it seems China, to get involved in our politics.
