There is not serious xenophobia in America... I talk with a lot of people about these topics and we are all a bit confused on where all these White Supremacists are... they are hiding in their basements plotting... all 250 of them. They are basically saying what the president says, and the president is not in any of those hate groups either. It's pretty severe when the president tells Americans that they aren't American, and they should go back from where they came from.

Trump's primary strategy for energizing his base is to make racist attacks. So based on his strategy, Trump believes his base is largely composed of cowardly racists.

The question is: Does Trump know his base? I would suggest the answer is yes. First, Republicans started gathering all the racists under the Republican banner using the Southern Strategy over 1/2 a century ago. Now some of the Republican party can see how this racism appeals to the base, and they are jumping on board with full blow blatant racism, in one case supporting commemorating a KKK Grand Wizard.

I feel that way most of the time talking to Trump supporters and more often than not as long as there is respect and courteousness, I continue to talk to them though I disagree totally with their positions even though most of the time they cannot even express in clear terms why they feel like that.

I did make a statement that other than killing of millions of Jews, Trump and Hitler have the same characteristics and personalities. I gave you my reasons why I think that way.
