What does telling us that 1-2M could die do? Motivates us to *do something*, since doing nothing is extraordinarily dangerous. Do you understand reality at all?

Hell, Brix is up there already saying that we will hit 200K, with Trump saying it's going to be a tragic 3 weeks.

well,off the top of my head we have calamity sticking to his "millions dead" projection, and then the host of other people reciting Dr. Fauci's "could be"s as if they are rock solid and will happen.

Unless you meant you really were offering up that Calamity represents "democrats/liberals", that his thread citing someone who pointed out the models to reach 1M is precisely what Calamity believes...AND this imaginary host of other people.
Also, beliving that moderately-poor 1M outcome is unreasonable is silly. It's entirely possible, we simpy do not know, and HOPE it will not go there. But Trump just told you worst case is 2.2M. How well are we doing with social isolation? Testing? Terrible so far..what's gonna change jmotivator? We may get lucky, and we hope for that sure. But it's not fear-mongering, or scare tactics, its coming from the experts.

Meanwhile, where is your condemnation for all the right wingers that have downplayed this? Trump? Rush? All of the usual suspects on DP who compare it to the cold, the flu? All the people ignoring social distancing?
I went out in Texas yesterday and all the tough guy work crews were just business as usual. Even a doctors office had no masks for respiratory patients(!) because they figured it would be over in a few weeks (!).

Your opposition is a disgraceful sham.
