Trump wades into South African politics based on what he heard on Carl Tuckerson

A good government worker???? Is that like the Easter bunny?

So George Washington was the Easter bunny?

Always have been all of those.

You are a libertarian that shrugs off tariffs, trade barriers, and protectionism? That's odd. And no, no president has tried to undermine their own ability to govern or enforce laws (well, maybe only Nixon). This is new.

And the free press? They bring that on themselves. They are still printing their stupidity every day

What stupidity? What have they reported that's so stupid?

. And the race baiting? Talk to democrats about that.

So being upset that the president of the US calls Nazis "good people" is race baiting now?

Recession was due to short sighted laws and banking and a bad system. We have ups and downs in capitalism. Doesn’t matter who is in office. And bush had no choice but to get us into war the first time. The second one was on him. Seriously. You didn’t expect a war after 9/11? Or do you blame Bush and that as an inside job? Even though bonbings started during Clinton? Lol

Maybe so, maybe not. While there may not be perfect ways to run a country, there are better and worse ways. Incompetence and impotence is not always better.

Wow. You blame Bush for the recession that happened during his presidency? But it is Obama’s who responsible for our growing economy? Lol.

Sorry man. Lol

The reality here is that Trump is not going to make a huge difference. As long as he doesn’t drop an irreversible cluster **** in our lap like obama or bush or FDR.

Clinton!

FDR!

Oh-BahMah!

So basically he is a federal politician? A government worker? Is the nation hurdling towards collapse? Are we losing our rights daily? Honestly? What lasting impact has he had on the American people? Irreversible in any form? Meh. I mean he hasn’t saddled us with a crappy and poorly thought out social security plan. He hasn’t dropped a crappy health care plan in our laps. Didn’t get us involved in a quagmire of a war for 17 years.

He may be an “ass hat,” but he is pretty mild as far as real impact. I’d rather a president have no strong suits and no impact. It works better

You are revealing more about yourself than you are about this President and his impact.

That I can observe history and recognize that the mainstream media is as it has always been in history: propaganda for the agenda of the editors.

Seriously. Point to something irreversible that trump has done. That will be with America for the next 50 years. He really hasn’t done much. The sky is not falling.

The environment...there is your one.

So George Washington was the Easter bunny?

He was a once in a few hundred years president. We had him and Lincoln as the only 2 presidents who truly understood their office.

You are a libertarian that shrugs off tariffs, trade barriers, and protectionism? That's odd. And no, no president has tried to undermine their own ability to govern or enforce laws (well, maybe only Nixon). This is new.

Anything trump has actually done is not irreversible within the next presidency. And it won’t have a long term impact on the nation. It isn’t war, it isn’t a bill that will never be gotten rid of, and it isn’t a Ponzi scheme.

What stupidity? What have they reported that's so stupid?

So being upset that the president of the US calls Nazis "good people" is race baiting now?

Why don’t you provide me a direct quote of Trump saying Nazis are good people. Reminds me of when NBC edited audio footage to make the Zimmerman call to police far more racist than it was. Or reporting “hands up, don’t shoot.”

The media exists to tell the side of the story that makes them money. It exists to tell that story from the perspective of the printers/editors/producers. If you are actually so intellectually dishonest as to not recognize that, then there is no hope of ever having a realistic political discussion with you because you will just parrot what the news tells you. And this isn’t some “paranoid rant.” It is simple observation of media and news sources over the past few hundred years

Maybe so, maybe not. While there may not be perfect ways to run a country, there are better and worse ways. Incompetence and impotence is not always better.

“Better or worse ways.”

Bingo. And the Truth shall set you free. Better incompetence and impotence than any long term financial burden like war or poorly thought out social welfare programs that can never be gotten rid of. The presidency and federal government have a few obligations and they have grown slightly in today’s world due to the complexity of international trade. Our politicians have an obligation to America first (whether you want to admit that or not).

Which brings this back to Trump and SA. The fact that he is willing to speak on it? Ok. But there really isn’t much we can do unless we want to fully commit to it. And we can’t. Black vs White? Yea. Heavy Chinese involvement? Yep. This issue is a no win scenario really. Not like another president could made an eloquent statement and do anything about it.

Historically speaking this is going to be a very important moment.

The environment...there is your one.

The political environment? Or the environment like nature? Because both were ****ed before trump.

The trumpet ministration is currently navigating legal waters not faced by the White House since the Nixon administration. And yet apparently that does is not keeping Mr. Trump from watching his favorite friends on Fox News and basing foreign policy on what he hears there.

I have asked Secretary of State @SecPompeo to closely study the South Africa land and farm seizures and expropriations and the large scale killing of farmers. 'South African Government is now seizing land from white farmers' @TuckerCarlson @FoxNews‚" Trump tweeted.

Early in the 20th century, under Apartheid policies, much land was seized from black farmers and given to whites. The South African government is now looking into ways to right that wrong. There are debates and discussions on this currently in the South African government for how best to do this.

But consistent with his previous views on African countries all being ****hole countries, of Nazis and KKK rallies being “good People”, Mr. Trump has felt it necessary to wade into South African politics to protect the good white people who benefited from such policies in the past- all from the info he got while watching Carl Tuckerson.

With such carefully researched and well thought out policy positions, taking the time to closely consult with our intelligence officials and diplomatic professionals all over the world, what could go wrong?

Trump wades into SA land debate with 'large scale killing of white farmers' tweet

Trump is a race baiter.

Trump's intent is so nakedly obvious. How can anyone deny what he's doing? He's clearly pandering to Whites who have this victim mentality.

He's the most disgusting president or politician I have ever known.

Ok. First things first. It isn’t racist to look at Africa objectively and say it is a **** hole. The same could be said for certain white or Asian or Latin American nations. They are a resource rich area that is exploited by Chinese, Islamic, and Western involvement. They have been for the past few hundred years. I mean can you look objectively at the area and say it is a booming thriving continent filled with wonderful human rights and innovations that are seen nowhere else in the world? Objectively it is not a nice place to live. That isn’t racist. That’s just a reality. And it doesn’t even mean it couldn’t be.

Second. South Africa is going to be a cluster ****. And I can’t say the whites there didn’t bring it on themselves. Between diamonds and land theft? But the blacks of South Africa need to be VERY careful about how they handle all of this. They need to make sure to keep their exports stable. Agriculture is the biggest historical benefit of South Africa and it is really the best area on the continent for ag. Plus the diamond trade.

This is going to be interesting. China, USA, Germany and other major world powers will be invested in the outcome of this. Even India. These nations will not want the area to destabilize. But certain ideals are not good for economic stabilization and one of those is “redistribution of wealth.” Not exactly a business friendly concept. And the people of South Africa have a lot to lose.

The blacks of SA have almost...nothing to lose. It was all taken first by the white man.

Wall street engaged in outright fraud, even betting against their own clients. They sold what they new was smelley (****) paper.

The only difference between wall street and Bernie Madoff was that he unlike the bankers...he didn't get bailed out and will die in jail.

Another who comes here with what you...want to believe.

I got the impression that the OP was more about the fact that the American President was weighing in on matters in another county, than on whether the SA politics are right or wrong. Maybe I missed the point in the OP.

The entire world 'weighs in' on the politics of the USA. Endless articles and broadcasts on its President, so why shouldn't Trump have his say on South Africa?

And we here in the USA should care what happens to white farmers in South Africa, why exactly?

Because a the poet said No Man is an Island. And because in today's world one happens in one place affects others.

SA Blacks that that have reacquired farm land are selling it back to their government...……………. and white people?

Some 90% of farms redistributed to South Africa's black population from white farmers are not productive, the government has said.

https://www.amren.com/news/2011/08/safrica_black_f/

?Many Black farmers in South Africa cash in by selling land given to them by the government? back to whites who originally owned the farms?, Gugile Nkwinti | HINNEWS SOUTH AFRICA

They better get their crap together soon.

Yeah, we all gotta step to the plate now that white people are losing farms.

No, YOU better get YOUR crap together.

You just posted links from two sites-American Renaissance is one of the most prominent white supremacist blogs around.....and "Hinnews" is a FAKE NEWS site that publishes stories primarily about South Africa.

Just like the FAKE NEWS stories about "White Genocide in SA", there is very little truth to be found in "news" that comes from alt-right sources.

Not much of a student of Economics, I take it?

That's the only plausible explanation for people who think that Trump did not inherit a strong and growing economy from Obama.

Maybe. But surely you agree we have had better and worse ones. So then surely, there must be some criteria by which such judgments can be made. You can't just dismiss them all as "government workers", right?

Why don’t you provide me a direct quote of Trump saying Nazis are good people.

If you didn't hear this, then surely you must be living under a rock, with your fingers stopping your ears and saying "la, la, la, la.... I can't hear you!"

Not immediately after watching Carl Tuckerson. He's like one of those demented old men at the nursing home sitting in the foyer and cussing at the TV set. I think the world was hoping for a little more sophistication from the leadership of the most powerful country on the planet.

You aren’t really understanding my point. SA is a figurative (and literal) gold mine. If they aren’t careful and destabilize the region? Blacks will get nothing for stealing the “fizzy lifting drink.” They can lose any potential benefits they want to reap.

I don’t think anyone is arguing that whites didn’t take a lot from Africa. But you understand that it isn’t just whites that will exploit the chaos and greed of corrupt governments now right? The Chinese are involved as well.

1) Yes I do. Long term impacts is a big one. Ensuring the stability, survival, and long term success of the nation.

2) I did. I’m asking for you to quote exactly what he said and who he said it about for a reason.

Intriguing. OK. Here is what he said of the alt right protestors in Charlottesville, who featured several leading names in the white nationalist alt-right movement, and who were carrying Nazi flags, chanting things like "blood and soil", an English translation of a popular Nazi slogan, and "Jews will not replace us".

Mr. Trump's take on this:

“You also had some very fine people on both sides."

This is what happens the most illiterate man who holds the highest office in this country mindlessly watches the most poorly vetted "news" and informational show from the most corrupt network in American History!

You would expect some weired outranges shait to fly off the screen and land right in the middle of American Policies!

Funny how fox was airing how blacks are stealing land from whites, and that what make trump to react! Good thing president is not racist (), secondly good that Fox is not a racist, because nothing says not racist like lying about how whites are the victims of Black Crimes!

I guess flippant isn’t a word in your lexicon. At any rate? In the past 150 years there have not been many presidents who have demonstrated they understood those goals.

It doesn’t change the fact that you want to pitch a fit about a comment made by Trump on an issue that is essentially political suicide for any politician who gets involved.

China, Blacks, and a potential for extreme long term destruction to a G20 nation? Trump’s comment is really the last thing you should care about. But hey. I always kind of liked South Africa. They have an interesting history.
