I mean... just... WTF... what is he thinking? It does sound like he wants violence or wants to encourage it. I really don't know how or why Trump thinks this is a good idea or makes sense. If his supporters go out and rally, and try to look tough and intimidate, and violence erupts... does Trump really think he will gain? Does Trump really think that that is going to help is political goals like getting his wall funding?

That makes no sense.

Part of me thinks, maybe Trump is listening to way too many crazy people who want a Civil War or something.

I think that Trump's back is against the wall. He's struggling to get this wall done in order to maintain his base for 2020. But in the meantime, investigations that are just ramping up on his finances, family and other shady transactions are just starting to become a real thing for him. He absolutely has to win re-election in 2020, there's just no other way for him to avoid indictments once he leaves office. The only other thing he could do, if he's desperate enough, is to pull off a military coup. He can try to just simply overthrow the government and unconstitutionally seize power. He's threatened it in a veiled way in the rhetoric he stated today.

I don't know if even Trump supporters would fall in step with this. The Nazi's had a deep generations-long hatred and disrespect for Jews. Trump's supporters are regular people, with children and homes and jobs and etc. A person would have to have no conscience or morality to be able to murder friends neighbors, strangers and sometimes relatives. I don't see that happening because even though I detest the fact that they support this monster, I blame the monster not the sheep following it.
