Trump signs executive order to stop family separations at border

Yeah, I know, I heard that crap for 8 years from POS Obama.

Stole and obliterated human, social and natural resources for hundreds of years.

Hundreds of years of human, social and natural resources stolen and destroyed. A generation later, you're "so, why aren't they doing as well?" It's as pathetic as it's absurd.

No, they will find a way to bitch about this too more than likely. This was never truly about the kids for some people, it was all about how anything can be used to attack Trump.

Sounds like sour grapes to me. I'm not complaining. The moron 45 lost. It was always about the children. Try caring about them sometime.

I've never had much patience with idealists ...

There's nothing idealist about historical fact. Hundreds of years of obliteration are not made up in a generation.

The President can create laws? Since when?

Do you have any idea what happened today and over the course of the past two weeks? If you think 45 created a law today, tell your congressional representatives to impeach him.

What is with the typos and this administration?

No. Seriously? They need to invest in a spell checker.

Maybe Chump's Staff intentionally change the spelling of words, particularly via EO(s), for giggles. I find it reassuring my own life feels impressively stable in spite of Chump's capacity for unintentional specious acts.

Um, no, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying Presidents cannot make laws or change laws. This is up to the Congress.

Hang on a minute. I'm all for reuniting families, but:

1. Does not the law dictate detaining kids and parents separately? How does an EO fix this?
2. I thought tRump said that this was a Congressional problem. And now he signs an EO to be the solution? Which is it, Donald?
3. There is a severe backlog of immigration cases. How long will it take children and parents to reunite?
4. What about the growing concern of child and sexual abuse allegations at these concentration camps? When will we get a full investigation into those?

Oh, good. I'm not the only person raising a disapproving eyebrow at all the trash who implemented and supported this policy (not law).

I don't need a civics lesson from you. 45 and his mindless gang ran around for weeks saying that Congress had to fix the problem that he created. He said five days ago that executive action could not be used.

Flash forward to today. The idiot signed an EO and all you people can claim in this thread is that the people who won will still bitch about it.

How inspirational.

Um, well, yeah, that's pretty much what everyone in the world saw.

Trump, via Sessions, did it. His administration, and he himself, kept saying it was right, and Biblical, and moral, and all that. Trump kept saying only Congress could fix it. Trump kept saying this was a Democratic law.

And the citizens of Trump Fan Nation spent the last few days doubling and tripling down on it. Some of them were downright giddy about the idea of sending these kids packing right back to the lousy conditions from which their parents escaped. Trump held everyone hostage by demanding the wall (the one Mexico was supposed to pay for) to make this all go away.

But somehow it's everyone else who didn't care about the kids?

Trump Fan Nation is sure an interesting place.

In Chump's Alternate Universe, the blame for seperated (Chump-Spelling) children falls squarely on the minority DEM party. The majority GOP Party has at most only nebulous responsibilities.

I find myself quietly wondering how and why Chump maintains credible and widespread support for his Brand of Idiocy.

Maybe. But it also makes all the Trumpers who were defending this policy look like assholes. So now, after supporting and defending Trump for not acting on this, are they going to condemn him for finally acting on it? Of course not, they are proud of being hypocrites.

They're talking circles right now and all afternoon. Clowns. Every one of them.

Well now that the families of the illegals can stay together they can take care of their own children. That would be less expensive for the taxpayers. They can feed them, bathe them, wash their clothes, change their diapers, school them and entertain them while they are confined together. My personal opinion of what the government could provide is 3 box meals, 2 snacks per day and plenty of fresh water along with basic toiletries for hygiene. Each person should be provided a cot, pillow and blanket. Outside the living quarters some basketball hoops, soccer balls, freebies, badminton etc. especially for the youth whose parents chose to put them in this predicament. I don't think it is necessary to provide TV or other electronics etc unless it is a designated time for each age group of children get to watch an appropriate video in the evening at the end of the day. Unfortunately we are only talking about 2000 of the 12,000 currently being housed that came into the country illegally with their parents. The other 10,000 came across without parents and often with traffickers posing as their parents. Of course those children must be separated from these adults but what do we do with them? Return them to their country and have their authorities deal with it?

I think it is pretty obvious that outsiders are gaming our current full of loophole immigration system. It is time to fix it and it starts in Congress. Enough.

This is really what blows a functioning mind. 45 promised the wall. His rabid supporters spit up on themselves with excitement. He said Mexico would pay for it. Mexico said, in real time, months before the election, that it would never pay for it. Now these slobbering 45 supporters and their leader support government shutdowns, the nightmare that is the subject of this thread, and any number of other subhuman measures to make US taxpayers to pay for the wall that he said we would never have to fund.

Un****ingbelievable.
