Trump should be impeached. Again.

Topic: Trump should be impeached.

"Well then no point in impeachment. "

ON POINT

That's not the topic. The topic is the question, "Who watches the watchers". The fact that 'the voters' don't make good choices at times is not an argument that the impeachment power is useless.

Sure it is. Its never used at high levels except when one party wants election points. THAT is abuse of power by congress, and they arent going to impeach themselves. And the voters wont remove them either because they also care more about election points. What the point of a law which isnt used?

Doesn't need to be investigated.

It was a great kill...............and legal.

Retired USN:

In order for the US killing of Iranian Maj. Gen. Soleimani to be legal two questions must be asked and answered:

The first is whether the US could target Soleimani under international law, based on the United Nations charter. If so, the next question is whether the president can act without congressional authorization, consistent with constitutional law. “Both questions turn on whether this particular act was necessary and proportional to stopping Iranian attacks on US nationals and facilities,” the professor said.

From: The legality of targeting Soleimani depends on these questions — Quartz

The answer to the first question is no. The answer to the second question, now by the admission of President Trump is there was no imminent threat and therefore the president could not order this strike legally without the approval of Congress. Since he did not seek and receive that approval, nor even inform Congressional leadership of the strike, the answer to the second question is also no. So the killing of Soleimani and the other six people killed in Iraq near the airport by the drone strike was an illegal assassination, not a legitimate military operation. The assassination was also a double-barrelled act of war against both Iraq and Iran.

That means President Trump and many persons below him in authority have committed premeditated murder and have violated the US constitution to do so. The President should be impeached again, tried, if found guilty then removed from office and barred from running again and then prosectuted for multiple murder. Those below him should be impeached if necessary and then be tried as accessories to multiple murders.

Cheers.

Iran can sue us for killing a terrorist.

See how far it goes.

Not a big fan of the Rule of Law and the US constitution then. Okay. That's your right to believe that. But the law does not have that luxury.
