"Based on both Media & Democrat Crazed and Irrational Hostility, we will no longer consider Trump National Doral, Miami, as the Host Site for the G-7 in 2020," the president tweeted. "We will begin the search for another site, including the possibility of Camp David, immediately. Thank you!"

The announcement followed earlier tweets in which he said he thought he "was doing something very good for our Country" by hosting world leaders at his Florida resort next year.

This was a blatant, disgusting violation of the emoluments clause and the blow-back didn't only come from the media and democrats. There were plenty of GOP congressmen that disagreed with this decision of Trump's to make the Doral the place for the G7. Trump can't save himself from self-impeaching it seems, but lucky for him there's men like Mike Huckabee who's usually up his butt in all things but who disagreed with his insistence at making Doral the venuefor the G7.

No choice, Trump should not have offered his own property to host this in the first place.

It was stupid of him and he knows full well everyone is watching his actions (and perceived motivations to cash cow being President.)

Now here is a real juicy story if somebody can just get it. I really want to know the play-by-play on this one.

Agreed. Trump ends up looking like he fully wanted to violate the Constitution and fleece the American public but he changed his mind. He still look really bad.

Let's see Trump donates his entire federal salary to the office of the Surgeon General battling the opioid epidemic and the reason he invites world leaders to his golf club in Florida is greed. I get it now he's a greedy bad orange man.

That is one interesting dynamic that seems to be addictive to Trump and his followers:
- Rudy takes no salary representing Trump and is likely heading for Indictment
- Manafort took no salary as campaign manager and is in prison
- Trump takes no salary as President and

Does it not occur to you goons that these people are reaping the financial benefits of TrumpWorld in other ways than taking a salary and does not stur your curiosity to the nature of those other ways?

Here I will save you the trouble and answer it for you. NOOOOOOO, it doesn't.

And in the meantime, initiation fees at Mar-a-Lago doubled after he was elected, to $200k per person.

Cheapest ambassadorships going. A steal, I tell you, if you want to spend a year at our embassy is Lower Tube Tuba. Not a Starbucks in sight.

 Trump is damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't... A few days ago some were ready to string him up for deciding to host it at Doral. He and his team rethink that decision, and he's still the bad guy.

womp, womp

Don't ever change, Trump haters. The constant nitpicking over his every movement, every word, every decision as CIC, is pathologically abnormal.

Oooh those initiation fees Trump's getting. They must dwarf all the contributions to the Clinton crime family foundation that poured in when they thought she might be president. Billions and billions to quote the late Carl Sagan.

There Trump goes capitulating to the Irrational Democrats and Fake News Media (again).

We need someone who will stand up to the Irrational Democrats and Fake News Media.

How is Trump_DoJ coming on those Clinton indictments?

Any minute now, right?

I'm really disappointed. It took till all the way to #10 for a BUTWHATABOUT_______?!! to hit the thread. Please do better next time. We're supposed to have a BUTWHATABOUT______??! (insert Democrat) not later than #5, preferably right out of the gate with #2!!

It must be a boring day in mommy's basement for the lunatic left.

Let's see Trump donates his entire federal salary

What's that? Something like 400k/year isn't it? Chump change compared to what he's scamming the American taxpayer out of. Hope your kids like paying Trump's kids tax bill.

Trump will personally save up to $15m/year under tax bill, analysis finds
Jared Kushner will save up to $12m, while five other members of Trump’s inner circle will also see benefits worth millions of dollars

And that's just one scam. He has dignitaries staying at his hotels, and we know from his acting Chief of Staff that he is does quid pro quo as a matter of course.

A Trump hotel mystery: Giant reservations followed by empty rooms – POLITICO
The investigation began after the committee received information that two entities — a trade association and a foreign government — booked a large quantity of rooms but only used a fraction of them, according to a person familiar with the allegation but isn't authorized to speak for the committee.

What a bunch of utter nonsense. How was he "damned" if hadn't have grabbed a juicy federal contract for the G-7 for his own personal wealth?

Ah projection. Don't ever change, you and your country are the biggest laughing stocks in the world. Statements like this just make us laugh all the harder. We love the clown show put on by the mango fool. ;)

America, how Trump turned it into the laughing stock of the world

Now here is a real juicy story if somebody can just get it. I really want to know the play-by-play on this one.

It may be as simple as revenue is down at this particular Trump resort property - a blast of free MSM attention about it may just get more visitors to check out this "best location for a summit ever".

Maybe 45 should just do what many of his constituents do and go to Trivago.com.

Trump's DOJ doesn't go off half cocked everytime the media accuse crooked Hillary of something. He's cool with it.

That's what I figured.

I suspected Trump is cool with the corruption of the Clintons et al.

It's an easy and obvious explanation for why Trump_DoJ hasn't taken any action.

What's the other alternative?
That the stuff about the Clintons is ginned up bull**** to rile the credulous?
There's no way that is true.

So, the only other reasonable alternative is that Trump is cool with the Clintons' corruption
