Trump Says Troops ‘Took Over Airports’ During Revolutionary War, in Rainy Fourth of July Speech

Obama pissed me off regularly. I took great joy in noting that his approval numbers would go up during his vacation, because that meant that a lot of other people were like me and were tired of the sound of his voice.

Trump lied about us having a trade deficit with Canada. He said we had a trade deficit. We had a trade surplus. He made the deficit up. What he said was the exact opposite of fact. He even bragged about going unprepared into a meeting with Justin Trudeau and not knowing what the facts were and just making things up. He used the fictional deficit that he made up as an excuse to use powers that Congress only intended for him to use during a time of actual national security threat.

That Canadian lie was HUGE. It symbolized the Godzilla act that Trump is doing with the global economy.

And it was far from the only lie. It's just a huge one, and you won't even acknowledge that Trump made a patently false statement. Not just inaccurate. The opposite of truth. And then he used his completely false statement as his reason to commit probably illegal acts. So there's no point in going on about this. You have said there is no point. I have said there is no point. So just stop.

I very much disliked Obama. But Trump is worse in every way. I am not a Democrat. I am pissed at Obama for what he did which led to the election of Trump. I was a Republican until Trump became the frontrunner for the party. I will never go back to a party which could elect Trump. If Trump had shown competence and heart and if he had kept the promises which he made that I actually liked, I might have softened. But he didn't.

You like the promises he has (kind of sort of) kept. I hate how he has gone about kind of sort of keeping some of his promises because in my opinion he has done more harm than good. And I hate that the promises that made me feel a little bit good about him were ones that he didn't mean.

You're happy with him. I want him voted out. I'm hoping the Democrats won't eff this up again.

I won't talk to you about this again unless you're willing to admit the falsehood Trump used about the fictional trade deficit with Canada. So, just drop it, like you have already indicated you would.
Alot to address and correct you on. Will get to it tonight.

The better question is why is he the President? The answer to that is that there are far too many low intellect degenerates that saw an opportunity to vote for another degenerate like themselves, thus making Trump the GOP candidate. The rest was ****ed up by Clinton who became the candidate by some other **** up.
Instead of living in a constant state of TDS, try actually thinking about why he won. It's not just about Trump, or for that matter, the US.

TDS is a librul affliction. And I don't have an issue with legitimate criticism of Trump. It is libruls on a hair trigger to pounce on anything Trump does or says that enters TDS territory. That is Trump living in your head rent free. Many of you are slamming Trump for the same actions that previous presidents including your buddies Clinton and Obama carried out. Okay?

Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Your TDS is so bad it keeps making you refer to Clinton and Obama as my buddies. They are not, and I voted for neither. But I get it, TDS compels folk to search for anything, even lies, to dismiss criticism against Trump.

He won because a significant chunk of the US electorate are absolute idiots.

I am getting bored with your repetitive banter. I'll move on. Take care.

He can't get that some people actually criticize members of both parties for doing things which are wrong.

Trumpsters (and Trump himself) made up things to accuse Obama of. The GOP Congress spent millions of taxpayer dollars combing through Obama emails trying to find something to back up the accusations Fox news was making about Obama and they couldn't find it. But now we have Trump publicly doing what what rightwingers accused Obama of and couldn't find evidence for. And we have Trump and GOP legislators doubling down on the worst of what Obama and Democratic legislators actually did, plus things they didn't do but the GOP accused them of. Before Democrats managed to get the House back the GOP was actually rushing through slapped together, thoughtless bills in the dark of night without hearings, without input from the opposition and without even giving their own members time to read the legislation, the way the GOP falsely accused Democrats of doing during Obama's term -- for just one example.

And it's "meh".

So it's natural that people like that wouldn't be able to comprehend how we might object when either party offends, and so they have to conclude that we must have loved Clinton and Obama. It's called projection. We can't expect better from people who actually believe that Trump is doing a good job.

I don't like to think of it as harshly, and mainly because I don't think they're "idiots"; especially the independents who took their chances. People who felt they were marginalized saw a champion in Trump; someone who bucked the political and societal shifts. He was the candidate you had to make a Faustian deal with the hopes he sticks it to the right people. That motivation has always made that aspect highly questionable; especially from the religious right. I still think there's going to be a tough choice for many in 2020 if the Democrats don't try and appeal to the middle; that will likely cost them the independents who might stick with the devil they know in a strong economy. If Wall Street gets spooked, the Democrats will have an uphill battle.

Just as soon as you admit that Canada was screwing the US on lumber and Dairy we can talk about it. It's a bit deeper then just trade deficits.

Learn economic history to see how the US consistently screwed everybody during the previous economic agreements even way before globalization:

Voluntary Export Restraint - VER

A voluntary export restraint (VER) is a trade restriction on the quantity of a good that an exporting country is allowed to export to another country. This limit is self-imposed by the exporting country.

Most of the Japanese factories that came to the US was after the threats by the US government which forced Japan to impose limits for its exports to the US which led the Japanese companies to the alternative of bringing their production here in the US (so the Japanese cars manufactured in the US would not be considered anymore exports) . The blue collar South was built on protectionism!

What is to be embarrassed about? I really do not give a **** what European or Aussie leaders or diplomats think of him. The same goes with any previous US president. As to why I support him, it is not a matter of liking or disliking him. Throughout the GOP primaries I did not like him even though I attended his first sizable rallie. What I do like is two fold. One, I supported the promises he made during the fall campaign in 2016 and I definately like how he has followed through on those promises. We can go point by point on that if you care two. I also like how he fights back against the mainstream media which primarily serves as the propaganda wing of the Democrat party. The Democrats and media have pride in their ability to destroy political opposition at will by constant attacks aimed at driving an opponent's poll numbers. Bush (W) for instance had about a 34% approval by the time he left office. Your problem is you still lack the foggiest clue why Trump won the 2016 election.

I appreciate your honest response. It is my sincere hope that he is defeated—decisively—in the next election.

While I never count my chickens until they hatch, the most likely scenario is that Trump will be easily re-elected. For the Democrats to beat him, they will first have to understand why he beat not only the Republican field, but the hildabeast as well. 2016 was a rejection by the middle class and working class of the establishment swamp in Washington DC(both parties). It was also rejection of the march to globalism. Brexit had similar motivations. Meanwhile the clown circus competing for the Democrat nomination in 2020 is fighting to see who can go the furthest towards socialism and open borders. The funny aspect is that establishment politics is what created the conditions that led to Trump's election, yet the Democrats are doubling down on that heading into 2020. I am enjoying the show.

Everyone know s why, so why are you confused.

That is true, it is also about the degenerates that excuse all his imbecilic actions.
You are a prime example of why Trump won. I suppose you will never get it. Many of those people you are referring to as degenerates voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012.

I disagree with everything you said, except that it will be a show.

I hope the entire left sees it the same way you do. The Democrats lurching to the left will greatly assist Trump's re-election. They are doubling down on what led to their defeat in 2016.

We already know why he won. Trump is a blatant racist, and sadly the USA has a lot of racists. Over 1/2 century of the The Southern Strategy has gathered all the racists in the Republican tent. Add in the people who are willing to support racism for political expediency, and the Russians, and voila, you have victory.

No big surprise.

I'm sure Trump will stick with his current strategy for energizing his base through the use of attacks on brown skin people, and it will also help bring new supporters on board.

Trump's Racist Remarks Helped Boost Down-Ballot Republicans in 2016
A new analysis finds that appeals to racial resentment inspired some white voters to support candidates whose ideology was different from theirs.

No, I have nothing to do with it. It was all along the low intellect imbeciles that made him the candidate and then the President.

I suppose you will never get it.
I always had it. It has been clear for a long time that larger and larger segments of the population are either dumber that crap, morally bankrupt or both.

Many of those people you are referring to as degenerates voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012.
Quite possibly, but that does not change what they are and neither side has a monopoly on them.

Not impossible.

2016 was a rejection by the middle class and working class of the establishment swamp in Washington DC(both parties).
Why then are all the Trump ass kissers so enamored with his cabinet, a collection of the worst scum bags and incompetent morons ever to hold positions in Washington?

Want some cheese with your sour grape whine?

I always had it. It has been clear for a long time that larger and larger segments of the population are either dumber that crap, morally bankrupt or both.

Basically you just referred to roughly half of the voting age population as dumber than crap, morally bankrupt or both simply because your party's candidate got her ass kicked.

Quite possibly, but that does not change what they are and neither side has a monopoly on them.

It is attitudes like yours that created the political atmosphere that enabled an outsider with no political experiance populist to get elected president. To rub it in your nose a bit more, it was people like you that created Trump. And i am not just referring to democrats or libruls.

Not impossible.

It's more likely then you know. Your party's candidates are at this point a circular firing squad competing with each other to see who can go the furthest to the ultra far left.

Why then are all the Trump ass kissers so enamored with his cabinet, a collection of the worst scum bags and incompetent morons ever to hold positions in Washington?

You really have a bad case of partisan sour grapes, don't you?

Want some cheese with your sour grape whine?
Spare me your moronic tripe. Fact is that it was the low intellect imbeciles that made him the candidate and ultimately the president.

Basically you just referred to roughly half of the voting age population as dumber than crap, morally bankrupt or both simply because your party's candidate got her ass kicked.
The numbers hardly make a difference and do not make up stupid crap, it only points to you being in that camp.

It is attitudes like yours that created the political atmosphere that enabled an outsider with no political experiance populist to get elected president.
No, it was the low intellect imbeciles who could identify with a like them asshole.

To rub it in your nose a bit more, it was people like you that created Trump.
No actually it is those like you, bereft of anything intelligent and morally bankrupt.

Spare me your moronic tripe. Fact is that it was the low intellect imbeciles that made him the candidate and ultimately the president.

Are you still that bitter that your girl lost?

The numbers hardly make a difference and do not make up stupid crap, it only points to you being in that camp.

No, it was the low intellect imbeciles who could identify with a like them asshole.

Such adolescent bitterness.

No actually it is those like you, bereft of anything intelligent and morally bankrupt.

I suppose in your mind, it was those smelly Walmart people who put Trump in office, huh? You may never work it out, however you and others like you created Trump 2016. And you have my thanks.
