So let me get this straight. The man who campaigned against teleprompters to the cheers of the idiots who criticized Obama for using teleprompters is now saying that he had to ad lib, so what he said yesterday was actually what he believed to be true. The idiot really does think NY and Boston were named after Washington, and we really had airports in 1776?

No wonder the world laughs at us. I know why they laugh at Trump and his supporters, but what did the rest of us do to deserve this?

Do you know of examples of people mocking somebody for such gaffe?

Also, some gaffes are way funnier than others. This one is easily close to the top. I mean saying that the US has the wrong number of states does not even come close to this gaffe.

Yet, jump right in and defend it. It's what you presumably get paid for.

Every Trump University student knows that the only reason the British did not control any airports during the Revolution was because of the tremendous help the Americans got from the French airforce (also known as Luftwaffe) which pushed back against the RAF at the Battle of Britain during the American Civil War.

1-I acknowledge his gaffe was a good one and deserves a bit of ribbing.
