You conflate two different situations and try to erase the disparity.

There was never any hint that Sanders was stoking Russia to help his campaign. There was ample evidence that Trump campaign operatives were actively working with Russia. As such, it's foolish to tip off their campaign that the FBI is watching them. That would be like the FBI calling John Gotti and saying, 'this call is monitored for quality assurance.'

The evidence was that Russia was reaching out to the Trump campaign.
Which would stand to reason as there was an objective of interfering with the election.

As I have pointed out and ignored 56% of the American people support the job that Trump is doing on the economy and no President in history has ever lost re-election with over 50% approval on the pocket book issues. What the left has done with impeachment and the 24/7 attacks on the President diverting from the results is galvanize the GOP base, independents, and African Americans who see the results and cannot reconcile the rhetoric with those results. Results matter and I believe most Americans won't risk turning the power back over to a party that is incapable of doing anything but promote politics of personal destruction

I think that Mr. Trump is being "factually correct" here. Russia is NOT "supporting" his campaign. Russia is a country and countries are inanimate objects so there is no possible way for an inanimate object to be "supporting" (in the political campaign sense) anything.

Now if Mr. Trump were to try and tell me that Mr. Putin (and through him the employees of the government of Russia) was not enthusiastically and secretly doing everything that he thought he could get away with in order to ensure that Mr. Trump was re-elected I'd probably have a great deal of difficulty in NOT bursting out into gales of raucous laughter.

Why is it so hard for you people to understand why Russia is supporting Trump?? I personally liked Obama and it was always his results that I focused on for me results matter.
