Trump Says Job is Hard

More than five months after his victory and two days shy of the 100-day mark of his presidency, the election is still on Trump's mind. Midway through a discussion about Chinese President Xi Jinping, the president paused to hand out copies of what he said were the latest figures from the 2016 electoral map.

"Here, you can take that, that's the final map of the numbers," the Republican president said from his desk in the Oval Office, handing out maps of the United States with areas he won marked in red. "It's pretty good, right? The red is obviously us."


His NPD strikes again.

He sounds like he isn't loving the job. That may be good news. Maybe he'll decide to go back to his "previous" life in 2021 instead of doing this hard job.

Bush Derangement Syndrome was bad. So was Obama Derangement Syndrome. And I saw people on this board who clearly suffered from both.

Yeah, he said that. It doesn't make him a terrible person. It also isn't offensive. It's ignorant, and it shows his ignorance. Maybe it's time the man learns to shut his mouth and not say ignorant things.

As Trump said in the debate when he brushed off his 20 years of dodging taxes (and the draft) "If you don't like the rules change them."

Well i guess he's too corrupt to the change the rules now that he has the opportunity, not that billionaires like himself didn't make all the tax dodging rules outside of office anyway

As of post #25, the only attempt at a defense is a misdirection to another poster. Hmmm. I wonder whether Trump supporters will simply stop posting as time goes on, or will admit they were wrong.


The simple fact of the matter is that this guy waddled in to office on the assumption that using billions (or hundreds of millions, if you believe those who suffer if they estimate his wealth incorrectly) to push smaller people around would translate to the Presidency. The problem is that he cannot use dollars to push people around nearly as effectively, and given the global economy, most can push right back in ways that hurt. We like to say we're "the most powerful country on Earth", and maybe we are if it came to a 1v1 war. But he's finding out in a hurry that he can't get away with pushing people around, especially since there is a pretty big difference between the ratios Trump:Subcontractor and United States:World or even United States:China.



But do keep attacking, if it helps postpone the day....
