Each illegal immigrant is a net loss to the American tax payer. Fewer illegal aliens equals less loss to the tax payer. Fewer people receiving government benefits equal less money the government has to spend on entitlements.

Sometimes pounding away at each other on different sides resembles the old English and Dutch wars, with battleships lined up in a row, shooting the **** out of each other, splinters spraying everywhere. Is there a use to it all? I honestly don't know but I do keep up my end of the argument.

Maybe...But there are millions of "undocumented" workers (they apparently aren't that illegal)...Contributing to the economy, to corporations bottom line...To share holders profits...More than makes up for any tax payer losses

It was a great calamity to the English and the Dutch, a useless waste. That will not work out for America at all. We are perhaps headed towards failure

If you want to know in the end the Dutch king by relation ended up being the English king as well, and England adopted the much wealthier Dutch economic model. Go figure.

COMMENT:-

It's perfectly obvious that when Mr. Trump said "pay" he didn't mean "pay" but rather he meant "pay" that that when he said "one time payment" he didn't mean "write a cheque" he meant "will send several boxcars full of cash".

On the other hand, can we REALLY be sure that the so-called "Donald Trump" that was campaigning is the same person as the so-called "Donald Trump" who is currently purporting to be the President of the United States of America? Isn't **T*H*E** **T*R*U*T*H** that the so-called "Donald Trump" you see/hear today is actually a mind-controlled doppelganger that is being operated by the Deep State for the benefit of their Lizard People masters?

Many years ago we visited distant relatives in Sweden; I went to the local bank (rural) and asked for about three different currencies, including Swedish Krone (sp?). I asked for the equivalent of $100 USD. I got 100 Swedish Krone; about $17 USD at the time. Good for nothing........

That's not quite true. Illegal immigrants can obtain an Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN), which is a 9 digit number that functions like a SSN and it's specifically for those who cannot get a valid SSN, like undocumented immigrants and some legal residents.

And it's well known that lots of undocumented workers will 'steal' a SSN and provide it to an employer for work purposes. Some of the time no harm is done because the 'illegal' is paying taxes on someone else's SSN and the credit goes to their account. Or they borrow or pay for the ID and the real person is therefore authorizing the use. The ID can be used for EITC fraud where the illegal's wages count for work for purposes of EITC for the real ID's owner.

Either way, it's wrong to assert that illegals cannot get an ID for work and pay taxes. A dairy farmer near me was audited and his work crew was mostly 'illegals' because that's who would do the work. He was paying them cash for services. The IRS didn't really care (it's not their job to care) about the immigration status of the workers, but did ding him for not paying payroll taxes and withholding, and required him to get ITINs for his workers and file back returns for them, including SS and Medicare, and to comply with employment laws going forward. The point is to put employers of 'illegals' on the same tax footing as those who employ legal workers with regard to payroll taxes, etc.

Well, SNL and Trump portrayed it that way, but we're supposed to ignore what Trump said and credit him with different words with different meanings now that he cannot fulfill his promise. Dear Leader cannot be wrong. It's a rule I think.

I would love my tax money to be used to secure the border to my country. What I don't like is when my tax money is handed over to billionaires for screwing up. What I don't like is when my tax money is used to reward some lazy loser who has never worked and has no intention of ever working.

Don’t be so hard on Trump. He screws up a lot, but I’m sure he worked a little bit in the past.
