Trump questions why Biden does not wear his mask inside his basement?

I'm just continually amazed at how some stupid little throwaway comment can turn hoards of lefties into sputtering, slobber-slinging fools.

I'm just continually amazed that anyone still thinks that making a show of not being able to understand what someone said will be interpreted as an indication that that someone said something stupid.

Everyone knows your crass and stupid cheerleading....

Sounds like Trump was in chain-yanking mode - apparently he succeeded. :lamo

....was being mocked. But you think you'll "win" by pretending not to understand what's going on. Amazing.

There's also a second layer. Want me to tell you what it is?

Clue: the identity of the second layer has to do with that first post of yours.

We obviously have different requirements for the POTUS. I take the office a bit more seriously. I'm not a fool. I take my job seriously. I expect the leader of the nation to not act like an idiot. I don't care if it's the greatest worldwide happiness in the history of humankind. I don't want to be represented by a buffoon.

You are certainly entitled to your vote, but I can't say I understand it.
I look at what he accomplished. It was extraordinary. I was reading earlier today that an Obama economic advisor is predicting a V-shaped recovery once opening up proceeds a little further. Honestly I expect(ed) more of a checkmark shaped comeback, but he thinks there's a lot of pent up energy out there.

I can see that, somewhat. We just started allowing dine-in service this weekend and the lines were endlist. Granted some of the was because the restaurants had to limit serving space and the lines needed to be socially-distanced. But, still . . .

I question why Biden never wore a condom in his college days. The answer obviously is they just kept slipping off.

Hah, hah! I get it!! It's a "small weenie" joke! That is soooooooooooo, soooooooo funny! You prove once again how many trump enthusiasts are such great comedians! I mean.. look at all the nighttime talk shows - all trump lovers, amirite?

Nah, I think it's still all about your Fruit-of-the-Looms bunching up.

Sounds like the voice of experience!

"Now, Joe, you know you can't be shakin' nobody's hand with them twelve fingers. For God's sake, eight of 'em are on one hand! If they were evenly distributed, that would be one thing, but look at yourself!"

"I know, Marge. It's just that I sure done love me some trollin'."

"We all love trolling, Joe. We're The Cult. Now put that hand away, I can't stand lookin' at it."

Trump's such a kidder!

Remember when he yanked the chain of all those suckers
by telling them their donations would go to help kids with cancer?
:lamo

Remember when he yanked the chain of all those other suckers
by telling them donations would go to American veterans?
:lamo

Remember when he yanked the chain of all those dolts
by telling them that Mexico would pay for the wall?
:lamo

Remember when he yanked the chain of all those idiots who were defending Trump
by saying he didn't know who Stormy Daniels was
:lamo

funny ****, man

Remember that one day when
Trump told a reporter who wasn't even in the room at the time
some sarcastic **** about injecting disinfectants into covid-19 patients

Looks like your chain maybe be due for its thousand-yank check-up.

It's the fact that it's such a dumb comment, everyone feels like they can trump it with a rebuttal.

If you watch, popular threads often have an utter stupid OP.
Everyone reads the OP and thinks, "Holy **** this one's stupid. I can explain how."

Yeah, but, I'm nowhere near as accomplished as Trump in getting the loony left spun up to 10,000 rpm.

The economy was Trump's only strong point. It was robust. What happens between now and November is anybody's guess.

Trump was handed a well-oiled economy. If he had turned around a sinking economy, that would be extraordinary in my opinion. Like I said though, to me, Trump is disqualified because of temperament.

I know.. aren't they so adorable when they spin? I'm spinning right now!

We had a "smart" Democrat and ended up wheezing and gasping to recover from the recession. I'll take a little tomfoolery.

Yet under Obama the U.S recovered faster and better than any other western nation. Some still had not fully recovered when the pandemic hit.

He's a moron. His one survival skill has been conning people. His massive stupidity has certainly hurt him, but since he inherited piles of money it wasn't fatal. A rich man can pay people to do his thinking for them. And if that rich man's one skill is conning people, paying people to do his thinking is much less likely to result in them cleaning him out: he knows the tells because they're the only way he survives.

It's quite telling that he doesn't allow anyone near him while he's in the White House unless they're wearing a mask. Nobody!

Well said!

It is true. If you're wealthy, you can be a real fug up. It goes with the territory. There's no job to lose. There's no tasks to miss. No investments to screw up. Because everything is done for you by people smarter, more knowledgeable, and more competent than you.

But if you're broke & poor, you gotta' be sharp or perish. There's no one to help, no one that you can pay to make your troubles go away. And when you make a mistake, there's no fall-back to prop you up. You make a mistake, you take a hit & you go down.

So yeah, great observation (as always) my friend!

Au Contraire. The economy in 2016, the one Trump was "handed' was struggling along at 1.6% growth. Some suggested that manufacturing sector might even be entering a recession. For the year (Nov '15-Nov'16) prior to his election the DJIA had gained 3.7%; from the day of his election to the his Inauguration day it gained over 11%. Before this **** happened it was up 45% since election. He cut unemployment from 4.6% to 3.7% and made dramatic reduction in UE for women, teens and minorities.

And yet it was one of our poorest recoveries since WW II.

And it was the worst financial collapse since the Great Depression.
And, generally, the worse the fall the stronger the recovery. Not this time.

100,000 Americans dead and he’s making jokes about something that actually keeps people safe? To use Trump’s words...SICK, SAD.

I just heard trump questioning why Biden and his wife wear a mask outside while Biden does not wear one in his basement. I watched as Trump's spokesperson basically asked the same STUPID question. I am sorry, but trump will say anything he thinks will hurt Biden, but this is just totally stupid, stupid, stupid. The CDC does not tell you to wear a mask in your house. I might wear one at home if I or my wife showed symptoms, but certainly not every day otherwise. Are any of you who wear masks outside wear one at home?

Leadership by example man questions this? Too funny.

Trump is a f***ing idiot!

The stock market shot up after the election because Wall Street knew that Republicans had a plan to slash corporate taxes and that Republicans had the votes to make it happen. Cutting the tax rate from 35% to 21% is a big deal. The reduction in taxes of course goes directly to after tax earnings. If you know anything about the markets you would know how tied they are to PE ratios. If you understand math you would understand that to maintain equilibrium if the earnings go up (even though they companies did nothing themselves) the price would naturally go up. No matter that the tax reduction played a big part in the budget deficit doubling under Trump. He never mentioned that! So bottom line is he borrowed money from tax payers that will have to be paid back with interest and gave it to corporations so that the stock market would go up. Not everyone thinks that was a good idea.

You also forgot to mention that job creation slowed down under Trump. It was still high enough to push the percentage down but not as fast as before.

You are also not paying attention now!!!! We should be among the best at handling the pandemic but instead we are among the worst. South Korea’s death rate 1/60 of ours, Germany 1/3 of ours.

South Korea’s unemployment rate in April = 3.8%, Germany 5.8%, USA = 14.7%. South Korea’s 1st qtr GDP slide = -1.4, Germany = -2.2, USA = -4.8. Second qtr estimates (trading economics) South Korea = +0.9, Germany = -10.6, USA = -17.0. Trading Economics is easy on us! The Atlanta Fed is forecasting -42.8 for the second quarter.

What’s different between the US vs South Korea and Germany? They followed the scientists, got behind them and pushed hard. In the US Trump fought the scientists every step of the way and he STILL is! Trump has really screwed us over.
