There is nothing more satisfying than to watch cerebral apoplexy running rampant through the American media like a pandemic every time President Trump utters something that sends them into convulsive fits. After eight years of servile flattery and genuflecting deference to Barack Obama the media is now frothing at the mouth in disbelief as trump delivers one-liners aimed their way. Those who put trump in office are sore from side-splitting laughter as the media rants and wriggles in the straightjacket of reality. It’s all too much. It’s even better than the New York Giants beating the New England patriots in the Super Bowl twice. Life is good for Trump supporters. Was it worth it?-Absolutely.

Did anyone notice the wry smile on the face of Benjamin Netanyahu? Old ben can hardly believe his good fortune. He’s actually dealing with a real person instead of a statue of political correctness with the personality of a recording like Obama. Remember Netanyahu’s meeting with Obama as he struggled not to execute a face palm every time Obama launched into a boring, long-winded episode of snobbish proselytizing? Oh how the media loved Obama! Their grief cannot be contained as Trump rubs their face in the awful truth the he is the new president and they are the same old dishonest media. Life is surely good for Trump supporters as the media moans and trudges through the winter of their discontent.

There is no better demonstration of sweet irony or beautiful poetic justice Than Donald J. Trump marginalizing the American press and relegating them to the status of liars, swindlers and court jesters. The American press long ago lost its credibility and public opinion of American media is at an all-time low. The majority of Americans regard the press as biased, immoral and dishonest so many see Trump as perfectly justified in his characterizations of them.

Liberal Democrats in academia and politics have been trying to march this country over a cliff for generations now and the majority of the press has been operating as a propaganda arm for that agenda. The American press is so heavily invested in the Democratic Party that it has left itself no avenue to evolve into a believable organism for news reporting so it has no option but to continue to distort reality in the minds of the public. It’s the only thing it knows how to do because originality and creativity are beyond the scope of news reporting in America.

American news reporting has devolved into something very similar to Chairman Mao’s little Red Stylebook and Trump does not fit the regimented dictates of the political correctness they follow in lock-step. They are more than up in arms- they shake and shiver with bloodshot eyes and quivering tongues-it’s a beautiful thing to watch because despite their best efforts they lost the election.

Incredibly there are accusations floating about that Trump is undermining the role of the press in America which is being received as the punchline that brings down the house. Many years ago the role of the American press shifted from being a watchdog for the people to a lap dog for the liberal wing of the Democratic Party. It has become a lap dog accustomed to making a mess on the country’s living room floor on a nightly basis. The people not only approve of Trump’s press conferences they rejoice that finally someone came along and kicked that dog.

All is not lost here. Trump’s total domination of the Fourth Estate could be viewed as teachable moment. This could be an opportunity for the institution of journalism in America to examine its behavior and take steps to recover the respect and credibility it has recklessly thrown away. The sad truth that the American press has lost its professionalism could never be more clearly demonstrated than a Trump press conference. What did the president know and when did he know it? He knows how to handle the press and he’s known it since day one.

Trump is a phenomenon like no other in American politics. His confrontations with the press always result in a knockout win for him in the first round. It really is a beautiful thing to watch.

That's an amendment. And not only no, but hell no to removing it. Quite frankly everyone should be term limited to one term in one office of any level for their lifetime.

That's not a good idea. Everyone grows into the job. You're essentially guaranteeing that every term will be filled by an inexperienced amateur.

ROTFL, I agree 100%.

It was nice seeing DJT fight back against the leftist propaganda machine.

Actually, if it were removed...we could see how Trump does actually facing Obama. Or Bill Clinton. Establishment Repubs could go for a primary challenge with W.

The Tumpettes don't want to admit it, but I think any of those 3 would clean Trump's clock.

It's funny watching you guys. For 8 years it was bad that the media wasn't tough on Obama. Now you want lapdog for the God-Emperor.

Better than a professional thief. Seeing what the "professionals" have done, I'd rather have lobotomized retarded monkeys running the government. Amateurs would be a step up by far from the so called professionals, some of whom make retarded lobotomized monkeys seem positively genius.

you're right.. I'm more for writing a clause amendment specifically allowing Trump to serve for his lifetime.

2 terms is enough he'll be 78 by then, my guess is Pence runs the roost till 2028 & then Ivanka will become the
first woman President!

Well, we're now one month into the first term of a "retarded lobotomized monkey," so you get to see the results of that desire.

Only in Trump fantasy land can a conference where Trump tells no fewer than a half-dozen demonstrable lies be considered a smashing success, only because he acts like a bad roast comedian toward the press. Guess you guys impress easily, eh?

But it's Trump. To these guys it's awesome when he farts.

Totally missed that but these days you never know.

:2wave:

lol no worries, it can be hard to distinguish with all the polar opinions flying around. Honestly I am still of the "ok, I am not totally disappointed with anything Trump has tried yet so lets see what he can accomplish as an outsider" opinion... but I would never truly want Trump or any politician in their office for life.

There's nothing more entertaining than watching the press bait Donald J. Trump into telling lies, having a meltdown, and Twittering like a madman in the wee hours of the morning. There's nothing more entertaining than watching a movie actress bait Donald J. Trump into acting like a little kid. There's nothing more satisfying than watching a once great but washed up show like Saturday Night Live get inside Donald J. Trump's head. There's nothing more interesting than watching the Donald J. Trump supporters act silly.

I agree. While we're at it, let's do away with the democratic process altogether. Trump can be the so-called president until he dies, and then, his first-born male child can take over, and so on and so forth. I wonder if anyone in history has ever tried that type of governing. Seems foolproof.

i think his son in law should also be considered to replace him if trump were to leave us

However, with the Trump twitter meltdowns, it's good for the twitter company, who might actually figure out a way to make a profit someday.

I gave the OP a like because it was so well written.

To understand the "mainstream" media is to understand American business.

Our cities and metropolises are home to the majority of left-wingers.

Major retailers flourish in our cities and metropolises and they know the majority ideological orientation there.

They are the sponsors of media presentation and the media is silent without them.

These retailers want sales .. and so they want content spun to generate sales.

So the media hires left-wing news reporters and program creators and encourages them to be themselves.

The vast demographic that is rural and towns and home to the majority of right-wingers puts up with this with disgruntled disgust.

Last November they reached their breaking point.

The media won't change, though, because they're big-city oriented in their marketing.

That's basically it.

This isn't the Bachelor. Only the Constitution gets to decide who replaces a sitting President. And that person is called the Vice President.
