Trump met with boos, 'lock him up' chant at Game 5 of World Series

President Trump drew loud boos and chants of "lock him up" during his appearance on the jumbotron at Nationals Park for Game 5 of the World Series on Sunday.

Trump was sitting in the stands along with some of his closest Republican allies, including House Minority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), House Republican caucus chair Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), and House Minority Whip Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.). Other GOP members of Congress present included Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and David Perdue (R-Ga.).

Now, what were we saying regarding his re-election chances?

Oh yeah. He's going to get pummeled in 2020. Odds are that he'll be the first presidential candidate to lose all 57 states. The Democrats have totally proved their case for impeachment and the American public is behind them like never before. They see the atrocities that Republicans have committed and the sincere, deliberative, ethical and eminently fair way that Democrats have treated this whole travesty. It's totally unimaginable that Republicans will win much of anything a year from now.

Or, maybe not.

I think it's very possible that Trump can win the 2020 election, especially with Putin helping him. That is why he needs to be removed from office now.

You can hear it a LOT more clearly in this Twitter video.
It even changes back briefly to cheers when they switch shots back to the military guys....but they opened with the soldiers, and when it switches to Trump, the sound in the stadium definitely changes to

BOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

This almost makes me want the Nats to win the Series!

Probably going to go to the Astros, though--they're about to take Game 5, and they just need to win one at home.

BOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

And the ‘lock him up’ cheers are clear too.

This is probably the first time he’s been in a public crowd that wasn’t his supporters in a year or more.

Trump just had his Ceaucescau moment.

I almost felt sorry for him. Standing there with a big grin on his face, probably thinking his presence would be met like it is at his rallies. Instead, he got a does of reality from a sell out crowd on national tv. Seeing him look at Melania like "ohh wow cupcake, they're mentioning us being here" being oblivious that people were booing.

And yet, I would not be the least bit surprised to see him tweet he got a great reception, best reception any president has ever gotten at a WS. And biggest crowd ever at a WS because he was in attendance.

He has to be the most hated president in recent memory right? Baghdadi gets taken out, Trump gets himself sandwiched between shots of marines, and still he receives the wrath of the crowd. Boy is he lucky one third of the population live in electoral college friendly areas.

It can't be easy getting that kind of negative attention, but it also becomes hard to feel sorry for someone who makes himself the target of it with the comments he makes and how he interacts with others.

That's exactly what I'm thinking. He's so use to his "chosen ones" at his rallies and these people weren't there for him, they came for a ball game. It was pretty obvious how the crowed reacted to the military guys and then an entirely different reaction when he was announced.

Did the stadium have a moment of silence for Baghdadi?

Pre-planned and orchestrated. That's what the left does.

LOL.

Yes.

All the tickets were sold only to ‘the left’.

The 40,000 strangers all conferred with each other and agreed to boo at the same time and chant ‘lock him up’ later on.

I guess you need to tell yourself these stories to make you feel better.

True. The back of their tickets said “boo Trump.” Or maybe it was all the Kurds they met in.

It wasn't 40,000. It was a few who managed to get near enough to the network sound feed.

LOL. The left.
They are fans at a baseball game. LOL.

It doesn't take many. The left doesn't have many. That's why they pretend to have more. It's all deception.
