What Trump is trying to say, I think (but who really knows), is that other allies who are closer to the problem should step in.

Am I gonna volunteer to go over there? **** no, sounds like it sucks. I'd gladly pitch in $100 more to keep the peace there. Considering taxpayers are payed $50 a year for troops to be over there in 2018, before the drawdown, I think that's more than doing my part.
