Trump lashes out at NYT, WaPost amid criticism of coronavirus response | TheHill

President Trump railed against the New York Times and Washington Post amid criticism from each of the publications regarding his handling of the coronavirus pandemic, calling the two publications "Fake News sources of information" and "bad for America."

Trump Tweet: Advertising in the Failing New York Times is WAY down. Washington Post is not much better. I can’t say whether this is because they are Fake News sources of information, to a level that few can understand, or the Virus is just plain beating them up. Fake News is bad for America!

Sad that Trump can't own up to his own failings in this pandemic.

Sad that the anti-Trumps and left leaning media keep weaponing a killer virus to blame Trump while hoping it sticks so that they can take back the WH in 2020.

It might have worked though, until Joe who probably can't remember his last name today, decided to run against this president. ;)

As a narcissist, trump neither can nor will own up to any error it has ever made.

Projection.

Republicans voted overwhelmingly against the stimulus bill in 2009 in an attempt to weaken Democrats for 2012.

Republicans are paranoid about Democrats politicizing the outbreak because that's what Republicans would do.

Sad that the tRumpers keep defending tRump who called a killer virus 'a hoax' and refused to mobilize until the Red States started taking hits. His 'leadership' so often contradicts the true professional experts. He claims he won't wear a mask because it would look bad when greeting presidents, prime ministers, DICTATORS, kings, queens... as if they are going to line up to travel here for visits with him during this 'killer virus' outbreak... :doh

This will go with The Don into November, replacing "you're doing a good Job Brownie" as the idiot statement of a presidency.... :peace

Obama campaigned on a stimulus package, and was barely in his first term, in fact, it was Feb. 2009, when his stimulus act, ARRA, was passed by congress. The Republicans took over congress Jan. 2013, almost four years later.

No, no projection. Just facts.

He takes no responsibility. As is his normal when things are bad. What america is he speaking of? The americans who are in denial that this is serious? The americans that are cops, gun owners and motorcyclists? All the folks on here who support his every move no matter how damaging? Bad for america is trump and his followers.

Yes, and Republicans overwhelmingly voted against that package, whereas Democrats voted unanimously for the rescue packages a couple weeks ago.

The fact remains that what you're afraid of is what Republicans do. Republicans are paranoid about politicization because that's exactly what they do.

That's why it passed with no help from Republicans. In this case, Democrats actually voted in favor of the stimulus package, because they put their country before their party.

The fact is that if the parties were reversed two weeks ago, the rescue package wouldn't have gotten a single Republican vote. McConnell would have calculated that hurting the people would have made it more likely that a Democratic President would lose re-election.

Normally I eschew statements like this, but I actually believe you are right. The Republican party is a shadow of what it once was.
