Trump Job Approval at Personal Best 49% according to Gallup Polls

That. So much that.

What's more, it's his HIGHEST. In January of 2009, President Obama's approval rating was 69%.

LOL. Seriously? Obama took the oath of office late January 2009. Guess it was all downhill from there.

Not talking about Obama are we? Whataboutism doesn't work on me.

The fact is that at the very same time as Trump's hoax impeachment, he hits his highest numbers. Doesn't look good for Nov for you guys.

I mean, it's not great, but it's not bad. Trump will be running on a very strong economy, which is typically a platform that is rarely overcome. Still, because it's Trump, there is a significant probability that whomever the Dems pick, they can beat him.

That's not what the oddsmakers say.

Ummmmmm, Trix pointed out that his numbers are better than Obama's at this point in his presidency.

They don't care.
They refuse to inform themselves on the facts.

They'd rather keep their heads buried in the sand.

So what else is new? Nate Silver's numbers are an average based on several pollsters.

That's the point, or else you'd have to take equally seriously my Ipsos poll showing Trump's approval at 41%.

I think it is beginning to slowly sink in to them.

Dow Jones up 478, Nasdaq up almost 200 points. #TrumpWinningEconomy

Yeah, something better sink in. The country is savvy enough to know that going backwards with a loony progressive socialist promising them the moon isn't the answer.

Okay cool. Go start a poll on how badly Trump is doing according to Ipsos.
This thread is about Gallup showing Trump's highest approval numbers since he took the oath.

You guys? I'm a conservative republican from Utah that worked on Romney's campaigns in 2012 & 2018, not a dem and never voted blue. None of which requires me to approve of our current president.

Per Gallup Feb. 4, 2020

With ten months out before the Nov.3rd election, it's looking mighty good for President Trump.

President Trump's approval among Republicans hits 94%, at its highest level ever!
Half of the country's registered voters say Trump deserves to be re-elected!
President Donald Trump's job approval rating has risen to 49%, his highest in Gallup polling since he was sworn into office in 2017!

I hate to pop your bubble (not really ;) ), but Gallup is just one poll. 538 tracks all major polls, and their average approval rating of Trump doesn’t paint a very pretty picture.

Gallup is lying. The real approval is 41%.

Besides, as you demonstrated in post 35, it's okay to hijack the thread to talk about the economy, so I'm free to post anything I want.

I think it's hilarious that you guys celebrate numbers that for any other president would be terrible as if it's some kind of victory.
Give the Trumpsters a break. They’ve been looking in the bowl at sinkers for the last 3 years, and now they’ve finally got a floater. :lamo

Ok, whatever you say must be true. Gallup is lying. :coffeepap

And Trump loses compared to the last president who was also impeached. :)

So why do you suppose that in spite of the country's good economic numbers, trump's approval is still only 41%?

Good thread question.
Why don't you go start one and ask...

No thanks, I'll ask it here. Why hasn't the good economic numbers raised Trump's approval?

Well why have an election at all then? I mean, these "oddsmakers" have called it.

lol

Well, the furious rush for impeachment by the Democrats means they're worried about the 2020 election themselves.

They don't care.
They refuse to inform themselves on the facts.

They'd rather keep their heads buried in the sand.

Yes, for a group that keeps on claiming and spouting about facts, they sure like to dodge the facts.

So, who are you voting for in 2020?
