Where did Frank, Savage or Thompson say voting for a Republican is "total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty”?

Neither extreme of the political spectrum has a monopoly on hypocrisy. Both sides equally employ foul, soulless tactics to score political advantage and then bitch as the country's collective salvation slips farther and farther away.
