Trump Insults Several Million American Jews

Two Muslim Democratic politicians have said much worse things and there wasn't much care in the grand scheme of things.

And they aren't the POTUS. You'll have to try again.

Accusing the Jewish community of disloyalty is literally how the persecution of the Jewish people began under the Nazi party. And also this is similar to the kind of comment Trump and his allies have attacked Omar for.

He's also accusing Americans of being disloyal to a foreign country...And he's actually accusing Democrats of being disloyal to him... The tinfoil hat dictator.

Trump Insults Several Million American Jews

This also isn't a very good re-election strategy.

Lying about what the President actually said insults all of America, Stop Lying

Understanding what anti-Semitism is and it's historical significance is an issue that non-Jews need to study seriously. The OP is not about Omar, et al, but the trope 45 spoke of and his proclivity to racial, ethnic and racial slurs against minorities.

Consistent definitions and the consistent application of those definitions is clearly beyond the abilities of the left. That is clear.

While Omar and Talib are publicly spouting their antisemitic statements far worse than this while being defended by the Democrats and the media.
Yeah, no double standards there. Nope. None at all.

If it weren't for double standards the left wouldn't have any standards at all.

The guy who finds a way to justify every racist dog whistle uttered by Trump thinks this is about dogwhistles.

It isn't about antisemitism, E. It's about Trump complaining that Jews won't vote for him even after he's been so nice to Bibi. The truth is that this shows a right wing misunderstanding that Israel is synonymous with Jews. The truth is that Jews, like all people, have a wide array of opinions that don't necessarily line up with biblical beliefs about what role Israel has in the future.

Trump finally gave everyone to have an opinion on a subject we all know about to seldom discuss: the right wing belief that what they are doing for Israel is what the Jews want because the bible says so. The conclusion is what would be expected. Jews don't have a single uniform opinion on Israel. Jews don't uniformly support Bibi's love affair with the American right.

Amazing how you missed the mark.

You can imagine whatever dog whistles you want. My post is no justification of whatever you think you saw or what you think you heard. My statement was clearly about the clear double standards being applied.

Let me know when you are ready to discuss the media's lack of reporting and in fact the protection, by both the media and the Democrats, given to two clear anti-semites in the Democrat's own ranks.

You friggin' call out the anti-semitism of the left. We'll call out the anti-semitism on the right. That's how this works.
So let's hear it. Point us to anti-semitism on the left.

I wouldn't care so much about that if it were on an individual by individual basis. But let's not pretend that this is what's going on here.
So much for expecting journalists to 'speak truth to power', when in fact they only do that based on political party affiliation.

#JournalismIsDead - at least any sort of honest and even handed journalism.

Let me know when POTUS and you admit that his trope was not anti-Semitic. He says stuff, the media reports it and you defend his sh*t. That makes you an anti-Semite.

I don't think it necessarily makes him a hypocrite, just an apologist.

Ok your position is Trump has been antisemitic as far back as 2016? Why make it a guessing game. Make your case for that and let's have a discussion.

Missed the mark, by far.

Where in my posts am I defending what Trump said?
All I've been criticizing is the duplicitous Democrats and their biased, complicit lapdog media for not calling out the antisemitism in the ranks of the Democrats.

Try again. Or not. I really don't care what you do or don't do.

I'll wait until you sober up.

His exact words: "In my opinion, you vote for a Democrat, you're being very disloyal to Jewish people, and you're being very disloyal to Israel,"

It's insulting to American Jews to assume they have an allegiance to Israel and not the U.S. or have dual loyalty. And supporting Israel doesn't mean supporting Netanyahu and his policies -- nor supporting Donald Trump and his party.

The Democrat party has two members of congress who have openly stated they want Israel eliminated as a country. The Presidents statement was not about loyalty to a foreign state. It was about ending all support to a political party that allows these two Walking Turds to be a part of it.

When David Duke tried to run for higher office as a Republican the GOP effectively excommunicated him.

These two Walking Turds are actually more hatful than Duke, and the Dems could do the same to them as the GOP did to Duke. The President is communicating to their intended victims that they should end all support until the Democrat Party makes things right.

The problem is with Robert Byrd and others the Democrat party has a long history of ignoring or even supporting nasty racists within their own party when it's covenant.

I think you got me confused with someone else. I never said Trump was an anti-Semite.
I never said you did. I asked you for clarification. Who were you calling sn antisemite warlier in this thread?

Hark, Trump anti-Semitic? you mean the guy who tells his casino vice president that he wants only short guys with yamulkes counting his receipts because they're all good with money? That guy?

Or the guy that told American Jews Netanyahu is "your" prime minister. That guy?

I asked who called the left AntiSemites.

Trumpists would make great soviet comrades. Whataboutery is literally all they have. They would happily worship Trump’s every word. This is the America we have cultivated.

Who cares if Jewish "leaders" are upset? Just because Jewish "leaders" are upset, everyone else has to be upset, too?

You say that everyone who voted for Trump is a fascist, so what's the difference?

Anyone still supporting Trump as much as you do has no excuse. If the jackboot fits.

white supremacists are not republicans stop being dishonest.

Oh yes they are. Literally every neo nazi that has run for office nowadays has run for the republican ticket. You have Steve King ffs.

The left with their identity politics ideology runs into major poop storms where the poop hits the fan when some of their own come out for one identity and others come out in support of another.

With every identity there are an array of different opinions and convictions. But Democrats for a long time have taken for granted that Jews and Blacks would be voting blocks they could always be counted on. That isn't the case today. Have you ever heard of Blexit? Candice Owens has started a #WalkAway movement reaching Black Americans to walk away from the Democratic party. Lots of other Black conservatives have been vocal as well. The same thing has happened with Jews. A #Walkaway movement has started. Jewish millennials launched a movement, called Jexodus. Calling the Jewish People to walk away from the Democratic party, as they become more anti-Israel. And the anti-Semitic comments recently have abound and for many Jewish voters that has to be quite alarming to them and challenging their thoughts. At some point a person can no longer justify something that eats at their core.
