I have heard that some of the crazier and religious Trump supporters do think Trump is some kind of biblical figure, prophet, or fulfilling prophecies. Trump is a man who knows his base, so he definitely knows that there is a crazy element thinking he is a biblical figure, King of Israel, second coming, etc. oh, he knows people are saying it, and he wants everybody saying it and believing it.

A normal leader would tell those people that he is just a man trying to make the world a better place or something. Instead, Trump promotes himself as a Messianic figure on international television

Yes. I was just thinking of the time The Beetles said they were bigger than Jesus. I heard there was so much outage, backlash, and boycotting they quickly apologized. Fast forward to this. We actually have a president with a Messianic complex, and the American Christians are dead quiet.

Aaaaaand what is your point? Are you stating that Trump actually believes he is the omnipotent, all powerful God, or do you think he might have just been using an extreme just to make a point?

Are we really having this conversation? If Liberals actually think Trump and his supporters really think he is an actual God, how in the hell would they ever expect anyone on the planet to take anything they said seriously.

Everybody who isn’t a Trump supporter takes him more seriously than his supporters ever have. That’s the problem with Trump supporters. You got what you voted for, and he is very likely going to destroy the economy. The farmers are suffering. You all get what you voted for, and, yes, I read his Tweets. It’s obvious to everybody but Trump’s base that he wants to cultivate a personality cult around himself, his presidency, and his policies in Israel.

Much of his base is practically begging for such statements

It's not the lying media. He literally said, "I am the chosen one." And the context doesn't help at all.

I don't get why you think that this buffoon is the greatest president ever. I guess that's how personality cults work.

Ridiculous. Trump has been an endless crap storm from day 1. The forum formate basically plays to parsing his nonsense one issue at a time and discussing each individually. But in truth it has been an endless daily crap storm that does not end and only gets worse. The site administrators do not allow the word count required to go through it all in one post and it will someday require a War and Peace length tome if anybody attempts to record and discuss them all in a literary formate.

Trump can't be trusted on any stuff of any scope or scale and his cultish hordes simply care more about what they want out of the Trump Presidency regardless of the wreckage he causes here and abroad. They can't be trusted with "stuff" of any scope or scale either. In fact a good many of his followers want the wreckage because they want to burn this Constitutional Republic to the ground and come out the other side with the country THEY think they deserve. Others are outright enemies of this country and want to take it down for their own purposes. That is as obvious as the noses on our faces now.

There are some Trump followers that are just along for the ride. But there are always some followers along for the ride. However there is a hard core base. Its intentions are obvious and both they and Donald should be dealt with accordingly.

He did literally did say he was the chosen one while literally being the first president to tackle the China issue. Lot of issues that have been kicked down the road.....
