Trump has failed

i'm curious; whose responsibility should it have been to ensure the nation was prepared for this pandemic?

According to a Johns Hopkins study last year, the US was as prepared as any other nation for a pandemic. BTW, ALL the shortages that are being complained about (masks, ventilators, test kits) also existed on Obama's last day in office so trying to blame such things on Trump is nothing but transparent politics.

Transparent like this?

Yeah, and here are the facts. Your rosy poll is only due to the fact that everyone is expecting some cash from the gov, well the cash will be spent in short order, and the effect will wear off.

But it is way off when it comes to overall job approval, here's several polls the show Trump's job approval to be less than the approval rating. Only one has 50/50 and even the Rasmussen poll has trump disapproval at 53%

and I'm showing only the most recent polls:

Truth hurts, I know.

Trump is a failure.

I believe that non-stop criticism of Trump by leftist communist media outlets is driving Trump's approval ratings down among the ignorant and gullible.

What meter are you using to claim Trump failed? Anything more than a 0% infection rate?

One metric would be the self proclaiming (and serving) 'wartime' President actually act like one- perhaps the power to harness businesses to fill shortages. Several Civilian CEOs are showing more leadership than the p***y grabber in Chief and converting some of their facilities to produce ventilators…

Stop listening to his fast food gassy gut and start listening to the healthcare professionals on what to do for the Country.

Stop going back and forth on when to end the stay at home order- that is best left to the states as some will not be as affected as others- mostly do to the backwater location and lack of travel done by the residents- but some are cratering and need drastic federal help.

So far it is a tRump fail... :peace

The thread says Trump has failed. I have addressed such claims. So, no, I haven't left the topic.

Ok, I'll shoehorn my point: Trump and his cronies have failed at not being hypocrites.

do have a cite for that study?

here is one showing that tRump received a 69-page assessment about actions to be taken to curb a pandemic. at two pages per month, he could have completed reading it
Trump team failed to follow NSC’s pandemic playbook - POLITICO

“Each section of this playbook includes specific questions that should be asked and decisions that should be made at multiple levels” within the national security apparatus, the playbook urges, repeatedly advising officials to question the numbers on viral spread, ensure appropriate diagnostic capacity and check on the U.S. stockpile of emergency resources.

still curious to learn who this member believes should have been responsible for preparing for a pandemic
But, it's all Trump's fault. No one, not one single mother****er, had one single bit a resposibility to see this coming. Right?

No doubt Obama had a similar playbook. Did he follow it? If so, why do we have shortages?

Very interesting, though, that he still gets such support. Why is that? I have my own theory, but I'd like to read others'.

That's the easiest question of the day, or maybe the year: He gets such strong support because the Liberals are so bad that we don't EVER want them near the controls again. We'll support an over tanned, loud mouth lout who takes care of America.

You know he's not gonna be able to get rid of all the black, brown, gay and trans people right? You still with him?

There's a wide consensus that Trump hesitated, evidenced by his failure to act accompanied by his obvious cavalier attitude (vid of Trump, in his own words )

to the tune of a couple of months, despite being informed, which resulted in the virus spreading much faster than it otherwise would have.

That failure to act, including the cavalier attitude he exhibited, has caused needless deaths.

There is no bridge for sale, there is only one to cross, which Trump failed to do when it landed on his doorstep.

"Wide consensus? MSNBC? You're joking, right? Your guys excoriated Trump for restricting travel from China in mid-January and now you scream he didn't act fast enough - moral and logical consistency are not your strong points, are they.

You spent the last three years bitching about Trump acting like a dictator, now you're made because he isn't acting like a dictator. :lamo

You know he's gonna have them all support him, don't you? Jobs talk. I'm with him until you show me something better

It is clear that it is you who is a racist. We don't know what their race is, but you sure do.

That study can be found all over the place. I'm not sure why it becomes any less true because a conservative site reports it.

They take a legit source and spin it for people who need to believe their narrative.

Restricting travel from China is his job. Anyone in his position given the information he had would have done the same. So he did his job. Wow, that must be a first. Then he proceeded to downplay the virus and do nothing for 6-8 weeks.

I realize a lot of this blame is on the government. But who formed this government? It all falls back to very poor leadership, and that's Trump.

And yet Democrats and their useful idiots excoriated him for "doing his job". You apparently MISSED that part of my post. Oh, and close to HALF of the legislative branch of the government are Democrats.
You need to brush up a bit. And NO, he did NOT "proceed to downplay the virus and do nothing".

If only there was a play book for him to follow regarding a pandemic.......
