Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump was infuriated after it quickly leaked that he had been directly instructed by his national security advisers in briefing materials not to congratulate Russian President Vladimir Putin on his recent election victory during their call Tuesday morning, a source familiar with the President's thinking said.

Trump was fuming Tuesday night, asking his allies and outside advisers who they thought had leaked the information, noting that only a small group of staffers have access to those materials and would have known what guidance was included for the Putin call, the source said.

I don't support government officials leaking info. Period. If they are caught leaking something that they shouldn't they should be punished. We can't run a government any other way.

But with that said, I understand their motivation to do so. This president is putting everyone under stress that they'd normally never have. Normally you have to do your job in a way that allows the president to have the best info in front of him to make the best decisions. These people have to do their job in a way so that they try their best to get this moron to understand the basic concepts and to beg him outright not to do incredibly stupid thing #1, #2 and #3. And then he goes out and does #1 and #2. I couldn't imagine working for a president so uninterested in the truth and logic. He's worried more about his personal standing than the country far and away. If he thought it would be popular he'd tear down the entire FBI and state department tomorrow and wouldn't even consider that it could have been a bad idea.

As a general rule. If you are writing, you do not need to write the word 'period' you can just place a period at the end of the sentence.

If you are speaking then sometimes you may say the word period to emphasize the fact that the last sentence is over.

If you do feel the need to write the word 'period', it may be somewhat redundant to place the word between two periods.

The word I used doesn't refer to an actual period. It's a word used to indicate the finality of a statement and that there are no possible if's, and's or but's. It's a typical expression in the english language. I'll keep using it.
