Trump embarks on expansive search for disloyalty as administration-wide purge escalates

Trump is cleaning out ****heads?

Very good. :applaud

Send them to Schiff, Pelosi and Nadler... have the ****heads **** up their offices.

It’s a cult.

Elmer Trump and Donald Fudd seem very similar to one another.

Trump's greatest mistake was not doing what Obama, Bush and Clinton did - clean house of partisans when taking office. He made the terrible mistake of not recognizing such people are pure political hacks who serve only for their own benefit, power and wealth.

I've lost all my faith in the average American and hold no hope for this nation. I used to believe that in times of danger and threats to our democracy, that our country would stand unified as one, as we've always done. Rather than acknowledging the danger that Trump is bringing to our democracy, they are accepting it and even celebrating it. This has caused me to give up on this country and there are times that I just don't give a damn what happens to any of us anymore. The future is not going to be good for any of us. One day, in the not so distant future, these people that have enabled this monster will understand that they fought vehemently on the wrong side of this war against democracy.

The "deconstruction of the administrative state" is complete.

He went into politics thinking the people in the other party were basically good and differences of opinion would not lead to them trying to destroy you.

You don't ever say even subtle (bad) things about a Mafia Boss.

What will be left will be really, really Trump dedicated Yes men. And he has every right to do this purge.
If a swamp isn't drained the swamp will keep leaking.
In a political ... or any other ... work environment, if you work for a boss and at the same time you're secretly working against the business ... you shouldn't be expected to keep your job when you're exposed.

we survived Nixon, Slavery, Vietnam, people not being allowed to vote and the Civil War.

we'll survive this New York City Mafia in the White House. It just takes time to right the ship.

We will but our constitution won't. What are we without it? We survived bad times because there was still a rule of law in effect. There are no more grown ups in the White House and Trump doesn't have any guardrails. He's totally on his own to do as he wishes.

if you think about the mostly (Southern) politicians just a hair before the Civil War (and the Supreme Court Justices and how they were ruling) it's not a ton different than Trump and his Republicans today. Both groups wanted to go back to the "pure" days of yore. And keep the $$$$ in the correct hands.

we'll pull through this corrupt period and this corrupt administration. hell, all the people that were born in the 1920s-1950s can't vote from their graves (nor could the voters, eventually, who thought the country was doomed if it didn't hang on to the Old South.

I wish I could be as positive as you are. I know one thing, if Bernie Sanders is the nominee, Trump will be re-elected. There will be such a deluge of disinformation stoked by the Russians once Bernie is the nominee that people will be more afraid of Bernie than of Trump. They're going to play on his 'socialist' tag and that will become 'communist and fascist' on social media. People will think Hitler looked tame next to Bernie once the Russian troll farms really start cranking.

Bernie Sanders has a vulnerability that they're going to exploit. The only one that really doesn't have the type of vulnerability that can't be blown out of proportion is Amy Klobuchar.

No he did not.

He went into this expecting everybody had to do what he says.

He found out he was wrong.

Not the same thing.

Unless you're saying he's so stupid tthat he thought liberals want the same things conservatives have been conditioned to want.

I could see that being the case.

Your boys entire defense of the whole Ukraine thing was wanting to root out corruption.

Then he commutes/pardons a bunch of folks who got locked up for, wait for it, corruption. Textbook definition in the case of Blago.

How exactly do you resolve that conflict?

It wasn't on the To Do List in Trump's Executive Coloring Book.

Was just penciled in it was.

He's on it for today only however if for that much time.

Yes and it starts with the Oath Takers who are the Oath Keepers.

Because the worse Trump makes things the worse Trump gets until we finally get confronted with the worst of his grotesque soul. Until then things need to get a lot worse than this petty stuff before the Oath Keepers will act to terminate this madness. This stuff is still the sillyness phase.

yeah. Trump will slaughter Bernie.

The tread topic is Trump purging his administration of those working against him. Wouldn't you do that too?
