The president falsely doctoring a weather map so that it now shows a hurricane going where the Weather Service said it wasn't going to go is nothing? If it wasn't for Trump being a habitual liar and nobody believing what he said, people in Alabama would be trying to evacuate for no reason -- leaving their homes and closing their businesses.Sorry, that's something and it's nuts.

The guy redrew the weather map with a sharpie to prove he was right about Dorian was going to hit Alabama. I never saw anyone so insecure in my life, who just can’t admit he was wrong.

The chart he showed is EXACTLY what was originally predicted. For at least the 10 years I've been here and over a dozen hurricanes, never before has a hurricane stopped over an area for 2 days, then made a sharp turn to the North.

I don't understand so many Democrats including on this forum aren't embarrassed to admit they are so stupid as to buy this false attack. The only explanation I can think of is 1.) they are in a mindless religious zealot frame of mind to the CNN and the other propaganda outlets of the richest corporations and people on earth who OWN CNN and the other MSM outlets and the press. The chart is the original predictions based upon how hurricanes usually travel. They rarely stop and then make a sharp turn away from land.

That's a lie. We live on the Gulf Coast in Florida, waterfront, and watch every hurricane closely. We've been personally hit by 3.

Dorian was EXACTLY predicted to do what hurricanes do - for it's direction plow across Florida - and the predictions showed it coming straight at us on the natural West Coast. No one can even recall a hurricane stopping for a day and a half 100 miles away, then making a sharp turn North.

IN FACT, we cut our 3 day weekend trip short because as of Monday Florida was still on the potential hit list. Originally, the "noodle" maps showed it going everywhere from to Texas, hitting Miami, across Florida into the Gulf or as far north as Nova Scotia. That it would turn North for certain was not until it actually did, why all of Florida was declared to be in a "state of emergency."

This claim was known to CNN to be totally false. 100%. The only time it was certain Dorian would turn North is when it did. Predictions of hurricane actions and paths are almost impossible to predict. Did any predict it would stop over the Bahamas and destroy it for 36 hours straight? No. The "noodles" had it hitting land across nearly a dozen states.

The PRESIDENTIAL PROOF map he posted was dated 8/28/19. The 5 AM map on 9/1 showed no threat to AL.
He lied. And he has yet to show any concern for those affected.

The weather channel, ACB, local news, Yahoo news, NY Post - hundreds more. Is going to "Google Images" and "Dorian path prediction" too difficult for you?

I mistakenly post inaccurate information now and then - and when I do I acknowledge it. In your messages, deliberate false claims are often your tactic. Some people think doing so is being cleverly persuasive, when it is just being foolish and is reason no one should believe a word such a person posts.

Dorian could have hit the gulf coast and gone beyond, though it's a moot point now.

Dorian might hit Tampa Bay after crossing the state.

If it were to make it over the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, it could restrengthen from an already stronger posture.

Also, because of the Tampa Bay area’s position on the coast, high wind can also translate into water, in the form of storm surge. Because of the counterclockwise rotation of storms in the Northern Hemisphere, a storm north or east of Tampa Bay could pull in Gulf water. But at least the center would be over land, weakening, in theory.

The most dangerous thing Dorian could do is park itself in the Gulf, just off the North Suncoast, strengthening and slinging surge underneath the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.

“That would pretty much be a worst case scenario in this type of event," said National Weather Service meteorologist Tony Hurt. "Cross the state and head off into the Gulf just north of Tampa and stalling.”

Neither of the two charts shown by Joko look like official reports or even ones done by news channels. Most I have seen include dates and times for where it might hit
