Trump digs in on racist tweets: ‘Many people agree with me’

What else is new? Consensus doesnt equal correct. Groups of people have made terrible choices in the past. Potus is a racist piece of trash and his base are radical right Christian white identity nationalist clowns.

Question:

Are the people who are willing to support a racist piece of trash in the name of political expediency also racists?

If I think that all liberals should go back to where they came from would that be considered racist?

They are enablers—just as guilty for debauching America.

Let me tell you something Miss, this Candace person - whoever she is - has a disrespectful, arrogant, and defiant attitude. She has no knowledge of why people in other countries around the world absolutely cringe when they hear the word 'nationalist' when referring to someone from the US. She has no real understanding of Nazi Germany and Adolph Hitler....absolutely zero. She just proved in front of the world what a clueless, arrogant woman she is and anyone that listens to and believes even a word that comes out of her mouth is also clueless. But, she got her 15 minutes of fame. Dismissed.

Or do you hate her because she is a black women?

I think you can do a lot better at expressing why you don't like Ted Lieu other than simplifying by saying 'he's a knob'. I don't need your 'laundry list' of people you don't like because as a Trumper, there's nobody in the democratic party that you like.

So we hate everybody in the Democratic party including white people? I'm confused, I thought we just hated the "people of color".

AOC 'squad' revolts: Ayanna Pressley says no more 'black faces that don’t want to be a black voice'

"This is the time to shake that table. . . . We don’t need any more brown faces that don’t want to be a brown voice,” Pressley said, seemingly taking a stab at the Congressional Black Caucus, which is allied with Pelosi. “We don’t need any more black faces that don’t want to be a black voice.”"

Need a towel to clean up?

More racist rhetoric from the left. Why am I not surprised?

And those very same deplorables will elect him again in 2020.

It is indeed very amusing listening to liberals complain. lol

Then there is the real world where the judge is white.

160531-judge-gonzalo-curiel-mn-1450_21db9e9101b145a64a4faa84d39b5b8b.fit-360w.jpg

The judge was Latino,

Gonzalo P. Curiel - Wikipedia

Curiel was born in East Chicago, Indiana, the youngest of four children. Their parents, Salvador and Francisca, had emigrated from Mascota, a small Mexican town near Puerto Vallarta in the state of Jalisco. Salvador worked as a laborer in Arizona before moving to Indiana where he worked in the steel mills.[nb 1] Curiel's parents married in 1946 and later became American citizens.

Telling people of color to go back to where they came from has been considered racist for a long time. I don't recall anyone telling white people to go back to where they came from.

Do you mean in your living memory or in American history, AProudLefty? Because plenty of people were telling the Irish, Italians, Germans, Swedes and European Jews to go back to where they came from. It was quite common among the Know-Nothing Movement and those sympathetic to them in their anti-immigrant screeds.

It is your job to explain the problem you find in my post regarding why Trump's tweet is racist. If you cannot offer an explanation, then your answer is just an unsupported statement. So, let' s try again with my quote:
The problem is, you did not provide an actual EXPLANATION that justified your ASSERTION that Trump's tweet is racist. You did not provide any evidence that anything in his tweet meets the definition of racism. You simply asserted it, over and over, and expected that to be enough.

If what you've done is all we have to do, then, well, you're a kiddie diddler, and boom, now you're a kiddie diddler.

If you use xenophobia (as you seem to agree) when you address American citizens instead of foreigners, including citizens who were even born and raised in the US , you basically say that these citizens are not "real" Americans.
And the reason they are not real Americans is because of their ethnic origin. Feel free to argue that this is not about race if you find a case of politicians telling their white critics to go back to where they came from.
A country of origin is not a race. You've not met the definition of racism.
As long as you fail to show contemporary examples of white critics targeted by their opponents or Trump with posts that are "xenophobic," you have to admit that it is only critics of non-white races who are considered as being "foreigners" and not being "real Americans." Such double standards is what makes the tweet racist.
Again, I don't have to show anything. You are the one declaring the tweet is racist, the burden is on YOU to actually show how it is racist. You've yet to give any evidence that it meets the definition of racism, and seem eager to shift the burden of proof because you can't man up and prove your claim.

The problem is that you assert that I did not provide an explanation only because you cannot come with anything to show why it is wrong

I never said that a country of origin is racism, I said that when ones talks about the country of origin of only NON-white American citizens, then THIS is racism

Try again!

As long as you are incapable of showing that white political critics are also told to go back to their country, you are unable to refute my explanation.

Gondwanaland is correct, pamak. If you are making an assertion, you have to explain why your assertion is correct. It is not on others to take a statement as gospel if you provide no supporting evidence.

If I go around saying that "all socialists are rapists" it is on me to provide some support for my scurrilous accusation. It is not on you to run around trying to gather evidence to prove that you and many other socialists are not in fact rapists.

And I did provide the evidence by showing the different treatment of white and non-white political critics.

No, that still does not meet the definition of racism. Do you need someone to get a dictionary for you so you don't continue to make yourself look silly?

If you (generally speaking) don't think, or don't know, that Trump is a racist, and everything he says and does is now fully filtered through that fact, you haven't been paying attention, or are incapable, of understanding it.

I agree wholeheartedly, you are confused.

The different treatment which you cannot refute of white and non-white critics meets very well the definition of racism. The non-white critics do not have the right to criticize their political opponent as US citizens while the white critics can do it.

How does it (this thing that you have asserted yet not been able to show, I note) meet the definition of racism?

What in the blazes are you rambling about here?

That's not an explanation. Just an assertion.

I could just as easily say: If you (generally speaking) don't think or know element94 is a kiddie diddler, and everything he says and does is now fully filtered through that fact, you haven't been paying attention, or are incapable, of understanding it.

Does that mean you now are a kiddie diddler?

Really. Right there in the title, "Racist tweets". There is no racism in his comments. Or no more racist than Nancy Pelosi's comments calling out the "women of color"

:lamo:lamo:

Yes. One says 4 women should go back to the s***hole corrupt awful countries they came(?) from (they're americans), good riddance, and that they can't leave soon enough.

Pelosi said the expression '' women of color '' :lamo

Trump digs in on racist tweets: ‘Many people agree with me’

WASHINGTON (AP) — Defiant in the face of widespread criticism, President Donald Trump renewed his belligerent call on Monday for four Democratic congresswomen of color to get out of the U.S. “right now,” cementing his position as the most willing U.S. leader in generations to stoke the discord that helped send him to the White House.

Content to gamble that a sizeable chunk of the electorate embraces his tweets that have been widely denounced as racist, the president made clear that he has no qualms about exploiting racial divisions once again.

“It doesn’t concern me because many people agree with me,” Trump said at the White House. “A lot of people love it, by the way.”

The episode served notice that Trump is willing to again rely on incendiary rhetoric on issues of race and immigration to preserve his political base in the leadup to the 2020 election.

COMMENT:-

This time Mr. Trump IS 100% correct - many Americans DO agree with him. They are quite on board with his suggestion that anyone who isn't white and male should not have any say in the governance of the United States of America and that they should all "go back where they came from" (regardless of whether they, and their parents, and their grandparents, and their great grandparents, and their great great grandparents were born in America).

Sad, isn't it?

Yes, racism is alive and well in America. A majority of whites believe they are discriminated against though a majority also say they've never actually experienced an incident of racism against them personally.

A bunch of people criticize trump. A LOT OF WHITE PEOPLE, btw. Famous white people. White politicians. White musicians. White athletes. White celebrities.

Yet he goes after Steph Curry, Colin Kaepernick, and tells 'coincidentally' 4 'minority' politicians to go back to their s***hole countries from where they came from.

I wonder why he doesn't say that about white politicans." Hey, Biden, if america is so bad, why don't you go back to Ireland and fix that country?". Never even crosses his mind. I wonder why.

It's black athletes, lesbians, muslims and latinos (see judge). Why is that? There are way more white, bland, european-ancestry white people making fun of him than minorities, but he doesn't talk about their heritage, culture or family.
