So in the 150 year history of impeachments. All impeachments had the following in common.
1. There was a Bipartisan vote to start impeachment inquiry
2. The President had a right to be present or have legal representation present.
3. The President had the right to present evidence.
4. The hearing were help in the public's view.
5. The minority party had subpoena power.
Trumps inquiry
1 No Bipartisan vote to start the inquiry.
2. The President does not have the right to be present or have legal representation present.
3. The President had the right to present evidence.
4. The hearing is being help in secrecy away from the public's eye.
5. The minority party does not have subpoena power
This goes against precedence and is against our country's tradition of due process and should alarm every fair minded American.
Just remember some day there will be a Democrat President and a Republican House would you want them to follow this new precedence?
You just compared apples to oranges. Impeachment inquiries are not equal to impeachment. Try again.
