The thing about these media haters is that, first of all, the free press is a component of the first amendment for a reason. Without accurate information, democracy becomes a platitude that demagogues use to impose tyranny. Secondly, if the media is no longer fulfilling its constitutional obligation, it's largely conservatives who made it so, with their media consolidation, normalizing political bribery and their general profits-over-people bull****.

Oh, they wail and moan like scalded cats when they don't hear what they want coming out of the television. Yet, to regulate the media is to be accused of communism by them. Their cranio-rectal disorder is acute and incurable. You can't fix stupid.
