Trump admin forbids CDC from using words like "evidence-based" and "science-based"

Re: Trump admin forbids CDC from using words like "evidence-based" and "science-based"

Do you support this move by the administration?

Simple question.

Proof you never bother to do your homework before you ****-post.
There should be NO banning of words by anyone ever!!!

Re: Trump admin forbids CDC from using words like "evidence-based" and "science-based"

We're dealing with horrible people.

Their Kids are watching.

Re: Trump admin forbids CDC from using words like "evidence-based" and "science-based"

Trump= "God Emperor, Slayer of the Many Headed Hillary Hydra, Savior of Mankind, Lord and Creator of the Stars and Hidden Occult Knowledge, Usurper of the Flame of Creation, Breaker of Chains, First of His Name."

He is the master of mankind by the will of the gods and master of a million worlds by the might of His inexhaustible armies. He is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with power from the Dark Age of Technology. He is the Carrion Lord of the vast Imperium of Man for whom a thousand souls are sacrificed every day so that He may never truly die.

Yet even in His deathless state, the Emperor continues His eternal vigilance. Mighty battlefleets cross the daemon-infested miasma of the Warp, the only route between distant stars, their way lit by the Astronomican, the psychic manifestation of the Emperor's will. Vast armies give battle in His name on uncounted worlds. Greatest amongst His soldiers are the Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines, bio-engineered super-warriors. Their comrades in arms are legion: the Imperial Guard and countless planetary defence forces, the ever-vigilant Inquisition and the Tech-priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat to humanity from aliens, heretics, mutants -- and far, far worse.

To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be relearned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods."

Proof you never bother to do your homework before you ****-post.

You came here and ****posted instead of voicing your concern about word policing, so yes, I am going to ask to confirm if I am conversing with someone who is indeed sane.

Re: Trump admin forbids CDC from using words like "evidence-based" and "science-based"

I think I'd impeach Trump on this alone.

Is there anyone here who does not believe Trump is the swamp?

Today between 38%-44%!

Re: Trump admin forbids CDC from using words like "evidence-based" and "science-based"

The Trump administration is prohibiting officials at the nation's top public health agency from using a list of seven words or phrases — including "fetus" and "transgender" — in official documents being prepared for next year's budget.Policy analysts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta were told of the list of forbidden words at a meeting Thursday with senior CDC officials who oversee the budget, according to an analyst who took part in the 90-minute briefing. The forbidden words are "vulnerable," "entitlement," "diversity," "transgender," "fetus," "evidence-based" and "science-based."

In some instances, the analysts were given alternative phrases. Instead of "science-based" or *"evidence-based," the suggested phrase is "CDC bases its recommendations on science in consideration with community standards and wishes," the person said. In other cases, no replacement words were immediately offered. . . . The question of how to address such issues as sexual orientation, gender identity and abortion rights — all of which received significant visibility under the Obama administration — has surfaced repeatedly in federal agencies since President Trump took office. Several key departments — including HHS, as well as
Justice, Education, and Housing and Urban Development — have changed some federal policies and how they collect government information about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans. In March, for example, HHS dropped questions about sexual orientation and gender identity in two surveys of elderly people.

Dangerous clowns. Then again, this is the same corrupt administration that brought you:

- What you are seeing and hearing is not what's happening.
- Alternative facts
- Facts that develop
- The truth is not the truth

Fetus is a banned word now?

Alert the AMA! Trump has spoken!

Re: Trump admin forbids CDC from using words like "evidence-based" and "science-based"

Do you support this? Or are you just going to continue to ****post while the country falls into a Qanon conspiracy about "occult knowledge" and other sordid nonsense?

Of course she supports it. The words of Trump are like God speaking. Thou shalt obey.

This article is from December 2017, almost two years old. I have a vague recollection of this, and I seem recall it having fizzled out and not being of overwhelming concern at the time as it was originally presented. Have there been any new developments?

Err...

It looks more like WaPo had a list of related articles in an actually current article I was reading before this one and I didn't notice the date when I clicked on it. I wouldn't really have expected them to include articles that outdated, since the idea is "you might also be interested in..."
