Tomi Lahren kicks dogs

It's okay because we have to accept it was just a joke or the "kick" was probably just a normal dog owner pushing their dog away with their leg after the dog was making noise for chewing a bone they gave them.

Likely not a joke, no one jokes like that.

They joke like this..

*dog misbehaves*

"Ohh you stinker!"

And even if you joked like this, "I'm going to kick you."

Who jokes like that that isn't full of malice and contempt for the world?

Last thing, joke incoming:

She probably makes her dog fly United.

I hardly have any nice words for Tomi, but she obviously did not abuse this dog in this video. She used her leg to push him away. If I did that to my dog he'd love it and think I was playing. I also would have used the same language to describe it to someone because I wouldn't expect someone to think that when I say I had to kick the dog away that I didn't get a 5 step head start and drop kick him 30 yards.

This is nothing and should be ignored.

Apparently, it's common to joke about "kicking" your dog? I am surprised but not shocked or else I maybe I feel like some just might defend because of who is doing the joking.

Do you have a link to video showing her leg pushing the dog away? All I can find is the video of her saying she kicked the dog.

No that is not my relationship with my pets at all. We play but I would never even jokingly call it abuse or kicks.

I am sure you live in constant fear of that cat since it appears to be able to overpower you at any given minute. What's the cat's name, can you translate it to English good?

Are you just looking to start a fight with anyone about anything this morning?
I have seen this behavior in bars with those that have a Superman(woman) complex after too much to drink or mad about something.
looking or any excuse or lame reason to be offended so they can hit someone.
i see you have found yours with me.

If you're being totally honest with yourself, is this outrage over the dog being nudged a few times (and let's be grown ups and recognize that's what Tomi was saying), or is it over a young, pretty, blonde Republican woman who is very outspoken?
I'm a crazy animal lover who owns dogs, whom I love and spoil. This is not a case of animal abuse, and like the abuse of the #metoo movement, it is an affront to animals who actually do suffer abuse and people who dedicate their lives to combat abuse and help.
All of this energy directed at a woman who nudged her dog? Really?

May I suggest volunteering at a local shelter if you are so worked up about abuse and actually help pets in need. Tomi's dog, Kota, looks much loved and happy.

BTW, she champions dog adoption and has done work to encourage people to rescue from shelters.

The video you posted shows her appearance where she supposedly kicked the dog. If she was seated and didn't move her top half she couldn't have kicked him in any kind of harmful way.

Perhaps but I still don't understand what people think is funny about jokingly say you kick your dog.

Normally, YES.
However, some agenda driven people look for any excuse to attack someone of a different political view.
This is pretty much a classic case.

I have disengaged with her because now she is blowing things all out of proportion & getting personal... and I am certain "animal abuse" accusation are forthcoming.

BTW...my cat is comfortable cuddling up under my desk as i write this.
and yes, i know his name and do not need to translate it.
The lack of understanding is not with me.

Honestly don't know, I've never heard an adult joke about hurting animals. In the Trump era, defending the indefensible is the new norm.

Tomi Lahren is a piece of hot garbage, not that we needed any more confirmation on that point. She is likely extremely weirded out by all forms of unconditional love, including the unconditional love of a pet.

It's not that I am offended, I just don't see what's funny about saying you had to kick your dog.

It seems like you are more offended by the fact that some people don't find that funny.

Yeah and I'm the dramatic offended one.

By posting something someone said in their own words and questioning what's so funny about it as a joke, is getting "outraged" over it?

It's just an expression. I've told my wife before that she needs to keep the dog off the couch or I'll throw him over the fence. She knows I don't mean it. And she laughs when I say it. Neither of us are monsters. I promise.

Perhaps people understand nuance and that some people have a different sense of humor. What Lahren was remarking anecdotally about was that she was trying to keep her dog quiet while she did her interview. She used hyperbole.
Taking this literally isn't about the dog, me thinks.

Well, you seem rather worked up...just sayin'.

I think you have more sense than to make a social media post saying that.

Maybe but you haven't seen me realy worked up. :2razz:

Well, as a dog lover, I'd think you'd be relieved that Kota isn't being abused and Tomi used hyperbole because some people just do.
She adores dogs and rescues. This is near and dear to my heart and Tomi is a positive example for people to adopt and love for life.

My childhood dog Baxter went to heaven yesterday. One of the only times I've seen my dad cry. We rescued Baxter from the shelter when I was just 10 years old. He was my watch dog, my friend and the best mutt we could ask for. He was scared and mistrusting of men when we brought him home. The shelter thought he was abused at his former home but he would've taken on anyone to protect us. He wasn't a fancy dog with a breeding diagram or high pedigree, just a shelter dog with a lot of heart and love to give. As sad as I am Baxter is gone, I know all dogs go to heaven. I also have little Kota, my rescue chihuahua. She's spunky, fearless and rarely does what she's told. I guess you could say she's kind of like me. Long story short, rescued is my favorite breed. It'll change your life. If you're looking to add a family pet or need a companion, consider a rescue dog. See, dogs have a way of filling an emptiness we didn't even know we had. Rescued doesn't mean damaged, it means they have been let down by humans. You can help change that. Oh, and learn from dogs-kick some dirt over whatever **** life brings you and move on! #TeamTomi #RescueDog

That's because there's no video of her oh so funny act.

I know you are an avid animal lover Tres, do you joke like this or in any way similar? I can understand using hyperbole but I just don't really see the humor in Tomi's social media post berating her dog and saying she kicked her.

Never in public. Ever. It isn't funny.
