Tomi Lahren Assaulted at Minneapolis Restaurant, Trump tweets support

Rick Ross the Boss bro, youtube titles be starting that way like a meme and all

I don't think so. Even in the urban dictionary, I am pretty sure it is a reference to another bad day. It is a line from an old Beatles song "A Day in the Life."

It's a reference to "thug life." She was basically calling them thugs. At the very least, I doubt they even know who Rick Ross is.

When someone says, "I'm not about that life" they often mean "thug life." When she said "A day in the life" the implication is a day in the thug life. Which explains why they were calling her racist.

Yeah that's what I'm saying, guess you gotta see the youtube videos

Look it up on youtube bro. Vines and youtube all over, it's stereotyping. And not stereotyping them as Paul waking up and combing his hair

That's your problem. You believe in such a distorted generalization. A liberal can claim conservatives aren't really conservatives. They don't really stand for freedom. They want tough drug laws, they want to promote a state religion or theocracy, they're racists, etc, etc.

But you are equating opinions, whether your perception is accurate or not about those opinions, with group think and assault on people--you are equating opinion with effort to make only one point of view acceptable. There is a huge difference between an opinion about something and action to punish those who don't share your opinion. And any who can't see that should evaluate whether they are one who has been brainwashed and programmed to be part of a subversive effort that no American should condone.

I thought that too but what happened was she was leaving the restaurant and for some reason she made a somewhat racist insult at a table with Blacks. That's when the water got tossed and that's when she confronted the table.

https://theblast.com/tomi-lahren-brunch-drink/

"Just another day in the life" is a reference to the "thug life." Calling a bunch of Black people thugs is pretty racist but she's going to play the victim card here despite instigating.

Oh I see. Calling 'black' thugs thugs is racist. Would calling 'black' pleasant well-behaved people pleasant and well-behaved also be racist? Is it your position only good things may ever be said about 'blacks' quite regardless of their comportment?

That doesn't matter. They insulted her, she insulted back. The content of the insult is subjective when there are multiple references. We know who the intelligent one was, and who the ignorant ones were.

This has personal meaning to me. They are renaming three schools in my area. Patrick Lynch donated property to the school district years ago, and has his name on three of the schools. The left is so arrogant and ignorant to the fact "Lynch" is in the name of three schools, that renamed them without the consent of the people.

Instead of learning the actual reference of something, we allow idiots to jump to conclusions. The proper remedy is proper education, instead of allowing the dumbing down of the populous like the left loves to do.

Then name is disruptive because of special rights agendas and poor education.

What an absolute disgrace some of these over-the-top liberals do just because they disagree with another person. To assault another person in front of her parents?

Very concerning.

Not very surprising. With the amount of nutters out there in the spot light and not in the spot light im not surprised at all. Assaults like these and much much worse have been happening for a long long time. Right, left, race, sexual orientation, gender etc. Many of them take on much worse than water. Of course that does NOT make THIS right by any means, just hard for me to get all fired up about it because of how minor it is compared to some many other lunacies going on. She has no impact on me but i know plenty of people left and right that cant stand her. Regardless, this is wrong, thats pretty easy to see but as usual anybody focusing on right, left, conservatives or liberals etc like your OP tried and failed to do is PART of the problem and not part of the solution LOL

This is an absolute joke of an issue....just the most recent example of perpetual conservative victimhood from all of the right wing snowflakes on this board (and elsewhere).

From the OP, to every other conservative comment in this thread, this has been 4 pages of pathetic, self-absorbed whining.

Tomi Lahren did NOT have water "thrown in her face". But the act itself, i.e. tossing a glass of water in her direction (at her back) after she passed the table, was certainly inappropriate. And I haven't seen many people (liberal or otherwise) defending it. However, I haven't seen ANY conservatives acknowledging that it was Lahren who (by all witness accounts) instigated the encounter by leaving her table and walking over to confront the patrons at their table before spewing some personally insulting remarks at them as she left.

Since then, we've seen Lahren using her platform on FoxNews to try mightily to present herself as the victim in a dispute that she started. And it took Trump less than 24 hours to TWEET his support for her. And now all of the Trump acolytes out there are in full "victimhood" mode, complete with the requisite, mindless attacks on "liberals" and "liberalism".

Trump just recently was SILENT (for 2+weeks) about the hero who stopped the Waffle House mass shooter in Tennessee. Of course, that hero happened to be a black man, so his heroism wasn't covered by the Fox and the rest of the fake news industry. Trump (and his idiotic, mindless supporters) have already expressed more "outraged" on behalf of Tomi Lahren than they have for ANY of the recent mass shooting victims.

These people (including those in this thread) who are now whining and moaning in faux-outrage because a few ounces of water were tossed at Tomi Lahren's back after she insulted and walked away from a table-full of diners......are the SAME group of soulless idiots who find (or create) a dozen rationalizations every time a REAL assault of a black or brown American is caught on camera.

There really are a lot of despicable conservatives within our midst these days. They have no real patriotism. They hold no core values. They practice no true faith. They are people who believe a nationalism with very strong fascist tendencies, and they believe in an cultural ideology that uses a facade of "Christianity".

So you support the evil actions of others...

Have you ever listened to her? Yes, she gets a bit would up speaking of things, but when is she wrong?

Tomi is wrong all the time. And she taunts liberals. She was on freakin' Glenn Beck's network, the guy who thought he was cured of his mental problems from spinning himself around in a gyroscope.

And these people believe professors and scientists are all liberals brainwashed against them but never consider that maybe just maybe it's because their ideas are dumb.

Have any examples that you can prove are not lies or out of context?

The left controls powerful media outlets that lie all the time.

She taunts liberals all the time. Like I have stated before, she is a young version of Ann Coulter.

Have a verifiable account of her being wrong of something said said as fact?

Then Lahern can press charges against that guy, but I have no sympathy for her.

of course not, you support criminal assault upon people who don't buy into your left-wing views.

Anyone who fear-mongers immigration the way she does is a jackass.

1:00 mark

A lot of delusions about immigration designed to rile people up. "A lot of these folks coming in are un-skilled and uneducated."

Well, a lot of these folks that are coming in are skilled and educated too, so what does that do to her blanket, ignorant statement? Turns it on its face.

There is no "immigration crisis", there is no "people pouring in."

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...-the-us-than-arriving/?utm_term=.ec85c29c53af

But since a tipping point in 2012, the net flow of migration from Mexico, both legal and not, has actually decreased. From 2009 to 2014, Pew estimates that 1 million Mexicans and their families (including U.S.-born children) left the U.S., while 870,000 Mexicans arrived.

Another measure of how many people are trying to cross the border illegally is how many get caught every year. And that number is going down for Mexicans, too, from more than 400,000 in fiscal 2010 to about 177,000 in the current one to date. People fleeing gang-related violence spiraling out of control in El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala have added significantly to that number in the past year, but the overall trend remains one of net flow southward.

Since the numbers don't match the rhetoric, it makes me think she is playing people's emotions and scapegoating immigrants who are by and large, an asset to society.

There is no legal obligation for me to feel sorry for her, she is one of those conservative provocateurs, she wants to provoke reactions in others, so she got what she wanted.

She can press charges if she wants, but a wing nut welfare recipient like her getting water splashed in her face is hardly one of the great injustices of the world, IMO.

These liberal idiots are pure filth

Actually it is apparent that Miss Fox News started the whole thing by making a negative statement to the table of blacks as she was leaving the place and that is when the water was thrown in her direction. Don't think a drop actually hit her, but don't start something and then claim you are the victim.

You do realize that most of our media today is controlled not by liberals, but by conservatives.

thanks for confirming what I already knew. I love the seething hatred you have for welfare recipients.

I do not think you know what wingnut welfare is:

https://www.google.ca/search?q=wing...droid-rogers-ca&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF

Wingnut welfare is rewarding people for ideologically purity rather then talent.

She has money and power due to ideological purity rather then talent, if she lost her position tomorrow, nothing of value would be lost and she could be easily replaced. If you are a real Libertarian, then you would not disort market by rewarding people for political hackery, but you want a system that rewards hacks like Lahern.

Again if she wants press charges, that's her business, but I do not have feel sorry for a spoiled entitled brat, where conservatives want to give her an undeserved silver spoon, then present as someone to idolize, for doing nothing that any two bit hack couldn't do just as well.

an interesting concept of welfare. Seems to apply to say Chelsea Clinton's cushy jobs she received due to her parents. You seem rather jealous of TL. She seems more entertaining and better spoken then many of the idiot liberal talking heads you probably think deserve their 7 figure salaries.

I do not like the Clintons either, so tell that line to someone who cares enough to defend them. Also I do not care talking heads at CNN, I think US main stream media is ratings driven infotainment garbage, I listen to more independent media. I live in Canada and I think our news media is superior to yours.

I am not jealous of her because produces nothing of value and I think she is a product of a shallow infotainment system. She has no real skills, you fire her and replace her with someone with the same view points and it would not change a thing, I think that makes her worthless as a media figure. She is infotainment over journalism and I hate Infotainment.

You seem to want a media system that rewards partisan hackery rather then commitiment to investigative journalism and presenting real facts.
